PROJECT UPDATE: A Temporary Detour 🌑

Greetings! I'm Azryl!

I have an important update regarding the launch of our Patreon tiers. Due to mandatory identity verification requirements on the platform, combined with current regional and family-related administrative procedures, the official Honeypie membership launch will be delayed until this summer.

As a 19-year-old coding student, balancing academic life with the technical and bureaucratic hurdles of game development can be challenging. I sincerely apologize for this delay; I wanted to open the gates sooner, but some things require a bit more patience to be handled correctly.

The Compensation: Main Cast Concept Art Reveal 🎨

To make up for the wait, I am pulling back the curtain on the main cast's concept art. These sketches represent the heart of Twice Upon a Time—capturing the fractured reality I've been developing.

In these designs, every line is hand-drawn to reflect the psychological depth of the story.

Thank you for sticking with me through these early development stages. This delay only gives me more time to refine the code and the narrative, ensuring that when the Patreon finally launches this summer, it will be filled with exclusive archives and deep-dives into the underworld.

Doodle page of Taweret + News

A doodle page I did for Taweret! I don't have much to say, She gives me the feeling of when I used to bury myself into my mother's side because I wanted safety and protection. That is what Taweret reminds me of, in a good way.

She must of loved this art, because soon after my feed on instagram became flooded with reels about hippos, especially of that baby moo deng. (She is so cute)

Im glad she still liked it, because admittedly I wasn't using a a refrence of a hippopotamus and kinda went based on memory of what hippos look like. Could probably be more accurate, buuut.. oh well..

On another note, thank you for your support on my first modern rewrite about Sekhmet! I know in reality 20 notes isn't a lot, but I usually post on Instagram and I am lucky for any content i make to get past 12 likes, so thanks ^^

Im currently working on a modern rewrite of "The Contendings of Horus and Seth". Im very busy so might post it this weekend or somewhere next week!

Laser-patterned thin films that swell into kirigami-like structures offer new opportunities in hydrogel technology

New options for making finely structured soft, flexible and expandable materials called hydrogels have been developed by researchers at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology (TUAT). Their work extends the emerging field of "kirigami hydrogels," in which patterns are cut into a thin film allowing it to later swell into complex hydrogel structures. The research is published in the journal Science and Technology of Advanced Materials. Hydrogels have a network of water-attracting (hydrophilic) molecules, allowing their structure to swell substantially when exposed to water that becomes incorporated within the molecular network. Researchers Daisuke Nakagawa and Itsuo Hanasaki worked with an initially dry film composed of nanofibers of cellulose, the natural material that forms much of the structure of plant cell walls.

I'm not going to watch Thrice Upon a Time. I've looked into it, I understand the basis of what is supposed to be expressed through it, and it's powerful. It makes me tear up just thinking about it tbh, but I don't think I'm ready for that experience at this point in my life. There's alot going on there that I don't think I should put in my head right now. Maybe I'll be ready another time.

For now, I'll give it a rest.
