This one is just for fun
The offer to stay "by Chase's side for all eternity" is very exclusive. Most of his alliances have an expiration date. Chase usually isn't trying to keep someone by his side that he doesn't trust or at least value, even if they are a fellow villain. Especially if they're a fellow villain.
He doesn't trust anyone on the Heylin side as far as he can throw them. Then again, he can throw them pretty far.
Chase's preferred method of disposing of other villains he's done with seems to be just chucking them off the side of a steep cliff.
Which makes sense.
It goes all the way back to the very first villain he formed an alliance with on the Heylin side.
It is interesting to see how Chase fakes playing nice with people he plans to cut off at his earliest opportunity (with his patience very visibly running thin with them), compared to how Chase is with the very few characters he genuine enjoys being with, takes interest in, or is otherwise planning to keeping around for the long term, like Omi or his fallen warriors.
The cute entrance where Jack's crew take turns bouncing each other off the ground is so cute. They have fun together
The question popped into my head: do you have any Spicer family headcanons? I mean, Jack and his parents mainly◝(⁰▿⁰)
Sure, let’s make these a little more Spicer. Haha-
I’ll show myself out.
His Mom’s a doctor. She’s very sweet and kind. She worries about Jack, not about the world domination, or the robots, or the goth wardrobe, it’s that he doesn’t seem to have any friends.
She REALLY starts to worry when older men come to the house (Vlad, Tubbimura, Chase that one time) and starts getting books that may help. ‘So Your Son’s Becoming A Serial Killer’ and ‘How To Support Your (May Or May Not Be) Twink’s Son’s Terrible Taste In Men’ are her recent reads.
Catches the Dragons once about to break in and thought they were her Jackie’s friends. She invited them in for drinks and snacks before Jack came up in the basement and tried to throw them out. He was scolded and told to be nice to his little friends. He glared at them the whole time as his mom gushed over his achievements.
Worries about the missing medical supplies and the new bruises on him on some days.
His dad’s a business man, quite ordinary but pleasant enough. Would like it if Jack got out more and managed his allowance a bit better, but is pleased by his dedication and work drive. Gets worried with the female robots though. He’s reading ‘So Your Son’s Not Only A Perv, But One With A Unhealthy Kink’.
His Uncle (Megan’s Dad) doesn’t like him. His Aunt (Megan’s Mom) thinks he’s just going through a phase.
His Granny is in a nursing home. She tried to take over the world, almost succeeded, but got pregnant by Jack’s grandpa and had to give it up for family or whatever. She believes Jack can do it.
The house looks like that because his parents do travel a lot. We only see the Eastern inspired wing. There’s sections dedicated to other parts of the world.
His grandpa was the kindest man ever. Jack is embarrassed by this.
sh-sh-showdown!!!
Running a little later than usual but! New Episode is officially up!
Episode 10: The Good, The Bad, and everyone in between
Jack unexpectedly gets his hand on the newest Wu that reveals itself, sending the monks and Chase Young on a wild goose chase to track him down.
(lol some of you light recognize the top half of this art from ages ago! But hey, you finally get to read the associated story!)
Enjoy!
