Oh, absolutely! Tudd and Sheila's relationship is one of the coolest things in the show imo. Teaching kids that marriages are allowed to end amicably and that divorce isn't the end of the world is 👌💯✅

I think Sheila's feelings about Tudd moving on would stem from their prior marriage (and what was wrong with it lol). I take Sheila's polite statement that they were "at different places in their lives" to mean Tudd was immature and volatile. We know he's prone to angry outbursts... it really sucks to imagine them being directed at Sheila. She still likes him now and wishes him well, so she probably always believed in him/knew he could become a better person through experience—but she also knew it was NOT her responsibility to put up with his shit until then. Sheila's a normal, self-respecting person. She can't be Tuddrussel's mother as well as his wife... luckily, Larry is a freak who enjoys doing just that, lmao!! That pseudo-mothering dynamic is really helping to keep Tudd and Larry together I think. They're just as unhinged and weird as each other 🫶

If Larry and Tudd officially got together, I think Sheila would be SUPER happy that Tudd's moved on AND has finally matured into a person who can sustain a relationship. At most, I think she might get kinda wistful imagining what could've been if he'd experienced that growth years ago, but she ultimately accepts that's not what happened, and is content to care about him as a friend. Her ass is gonna be AT that wedding. Meanwhile, XJ5 is less than interested in the whole thing, lmao... I refer u to this amazing drawing by @cherrytastiq pls gaze upon its glory

Also, Sheila definitely likes Larry as a person!! She lets him talk about useless stuff WRT he and Otto's exploits in China for SO LONG in Kubla Khan't, she keeps listening politely until XJ5 gets her attention... 😭😭 Sheila is such a cool and kind character I LOVE HER SO MUCH
