can you do something with your fav ships where one of them is sick and the other is taking care of them? E.g when a is sick b does this and when b is sick a does this

- zakkura: when zack is sick, cloud pulls out every weird trick imaginable that he learned from his mom, its all batshit crazy stuff that like no one would think of, but for some reason works? and otherwise he tries to take care of zack as best as he can but he’s not great at anything other than weird small town remedies. and when cloud is sick, zack is also sick because zack will be all over cloud, cuddling and doting on him to make him feel better emotionally, and he probably just hopes the power of his love will make cloud better

- asg: when angeal and/or sephiroth is sick, genesis will probably make the best chicken noodle soup anyone has ever tasted for them, but otherwise he’s pretty useless… when sephiroth/genesis is sick, angeal tries his best, he makes sure they take medicine on time, he makes sure they eat anything they can hold down, and he’s smart enough to maintain some distance as well so he doesn’t get sick! and when gen/angeal is sick, sephiroth will do absolutely anything to make them feel better in any way possible! and he doesn’t care much about getting sick from either of them, so he doesn’t hesitate to lay in the bed with both of them, holding them and providing warmth for as long as they need

- aerti: when one of them is sick, they are both sick because they both just try to be as lovey dovey and caring for each other as possible, and despite them both being sick they still try to care for eachother more than themselves

- tsengru: when rufus is sick, he refuses to show it, he taught himself to never show his weaknesses, but tseng can notice all the subtle differences and tseng will force rufus to let himself be sick and tseng will take damn good care of rufus! when tseng is sick, rufus would bring out the best doctor in all of midgar, even if its just a simple common cold, because he wants to make damn sure tseng is okay

- renorude: when rude is sick, reno likes to pretend like rude is dying and be super overdramatic and vice versa

- tuestine: when reeve is sick, vincent is just the most unexpectedly caring and loving, even if he doesn’t show it, he’ll force reeve to relax and he’ll keep reeve all bundled up and cozy! and when vincent is sick, reeve will be worried sick, he’ll be all over vincent, holding him and keeping a close watch to make sure vincent is okay, he’ll care for vincent more than he cares for himself

All of a sudden, a lot of my old Chaos/Reeve and a smattering of Reeve/Vincent stuff is getting a lot of likes. I don't know how this is happening or why, but I'm thrilled to bits by the idea that the ship might grow.

I did notice one thing they all have in common - the expired ship name, tuestine. It's something I came up with on the spur of the moment when asked what Reeve/Vincent is called, but I never cared for it. Sounded like frankenstein... 😓

Back then I practically begged for someone, anyone to come up with a better sounding ship name! I wanna say it was Arkee (right? maybe i'm wrong?) who came up with the much cuter reevince.

It seemed to go nicely alongside the two then-most popular Vincent ships - valenwind is last-last-name, yuffintine is first-last-name, and reevince is first-first-name.

So if you're hunting for Reeve with a romantic combination of Vincent or Chaos, you'll find a TON more food if you search for reevince. 😉

hi!! Big fan of your hcs, could you do some more on maybe similar style to FFVII new years kisses, valentines gifts, those ones?

a suggestion: maybe like winter hot chocolate or drinking party or something (NOT THAT I ENCOURAGE DRINKING NOT AT ALL)

some of my ffvii ships cute little winter hot cocoa dates:

- zakkura: zack would take cloud to a convenience store to get the premade hot chocolate and cloud would still think its the pinnacle of romance, even when zack makes an absolute mess of the store

- asg: genesis would insist on making the hot cocoa from scratch because nothing could ever be as good what he makes, and he is actually right! angeal is ecstatic because it reminds him of when they were kids, and sephiroth is excited to know if it lives up to the hype, but even when it does sephiroth will still pretend like it doesn’t because he wants to (lovingly) tease and annoy genesis

- tsengru/renorude: rufus would have the perfect and fanciest hot chocolate made for them all while they’re all cozy and warm in his apartment, cuddled up together by the window to watch the snow fall. and then reno would bring cheap instant cocoa to force rufus to try! reno would take advantage of rufus’ expensive cocoa and get the most expensive one he can, rude would get the sweetest one possible which shocks everyone including reno, and tseng would opt for coffee in his cocoa, and rufus would fall in love with reno’s cheap “commoner” cocoa tamaki ohshc style

- aerti: aerith would suggest they make each other cocoa with (potentially strange for cocoa) ingredients they think the other would like and cozy up/cuddle together on the couch with a blanket wrapped around them both, enjoying each other’s weird concoctions happily

- tuestine: reeve would insist on making the perfect cocoa for vincent and he would be so proud of himself, and even if vincent isn’t fond of it, vincent will still compliment it and wouldn’t have the heart to risk breaking reeve’s proud excitement

and ships at a drinking party:

- zakkura: zack is having the time of his life, laughing and “dancing” with cloud, until poor cloud starts puking in which zack becomes the picture perfect boyfriend and holds cloud’s hair back and helps cloud in any way possible, basically waiting on cloud entirely until cloud starts to feel a bit better

- asg: sephiroth is the designated driver for both asg and zakkura, usually its angeal but sephiroth wanted to give angeal a break, and while genesis is moderately composed (aside from dancing promiscuously around angeal and sephiroth) angeal is an absolute drunken mess, behaving in ways that none of them have seen before, and that sephiroth and genesis will tease him about for the rest of their lives

- tsengru: they both have a few drinks, as rufus would convince tseng to let loose for once, but they would stop before either of them got too drunk because without each other knowing, they were both holding out in case either of them got too drunk and needed each other

- renorude: reno challenges anyone and everyone to a drinking contest, but he cant hold his liquor at all, and poor rude has to be dragged around all night by reno and make sure reno doesn’t get into too much trouble, plus rude is reno and tsengru’s designated driver so he can’t drink that night (poor dude has too put up with reno while sober… poor poor rude…)

- aerti: i like to think that the party is happening at 7th heaven so neither of them have to be the designated driver since neither of them have to leave, but i dont think either of them would get too wild, i think they’d have a few drinks but aerith can hold her liquor better then anyone else at the party, and even beats reno in a drinking competition, but then aerti both just get really lovey dovey with eachother and aerith tries to flirt with tifa in ways that make tifa laugh and they both know aerith will regret later

- tuestine: vincent doesn’t get very drunk at all, but he does loosen up at least a little bit around reeve, and reeve, despite initially wanting to be responsible and not drink much, he gets super wasted and starts being all over vincent, he’s just ultra clingy and all lovey dovey, but i also fully believe he’s an emotional drunk so he also gets all insecure about himself and whether he’s good enough for vincent, in which vincent actually handles it quite well and assuages all of reeve’s fears in his own way! and then they also probably hitch a ride back home with renorude/tsengru, where reeve ends up falling asleep on vincent and needing to be carried to bed

the first time reeve saw vincent take off his cloak is when they went on their first winter date and vincent noticed reeve shivering so he took it off to wrap it around reeve instead

and then for the rest of the winter, reeve would either pretend to be really cold, or he would just use being cold as an excuse to snuggle up to vincent under the cloak

i think reeve asks vincent out in insanely poetic and fancy victorian esque ways because he thinks vincent will like that, y’know all emo and vampireish, but vincent doesn’t get it and just assumes it’s a weird reeve thing, neither of them ever saying anything about it

assigning a valentines day gift to some of my ffvii ships:

zakkura: cute heart shaped candy and zack gives cloud silly (strange) little valentines cards

asg: matching rings that have each of their initials engraved on the inside/their birthstones/something that uniquely reminds them of each other or represents each of them

aerti: hand picked flowers and the cutest matching necklaces/bracelets

tsengru: an extremely expensive but very romantic dinner date

tuestine: traditional chocolates with a large bouquet of red roses, and reeve gives vincent a little red cat plushie

renorude: also silly little valentines cards (except extremely graphic 18+ nsfw edition) and a surprisingly sweet, heartfelt and serious talk after (to make up for the “joke” gift)

occasionally (all the time) reeve will overwork himself and end up passing out at his desk, so vincent will sneak in and carry reeve to the couch in his office and lay a blanket on him and give him a little forehead kiss before disappearing into the night again

although on the rare occasion that it’s really late and vincent is particularly missing reeve more than usual that day, and he’s absolutely sure there’s no risk of anyone else seeing him, he’ll lay with reeve and hold him until reeve wakes up, although reeve has pretended to still be asleep before just to stay in vincent’s arms longer, and vincent knows he’s awake every time but doesn’t ever say anything, finding it cute and also appreciating the extra time with reeve, so reeve never even knows that vincent knows

and a lot of times, when vincent thinks reeve has been overworking way too much, instead of laying reeve down on the couch in reeve’s office, he’ll just carry reeve home instead, while being as gentle as possible as to not wake reeve, and change reeve into his coziest pajamas and tuck him in snuggly and cuddle reeve all night and well into the next day, in which he also demands reeve stay home, sleep, and relax while he takes care of everything for reeve for the day, not allowing reeve to do anything (although the first few times they argued about it because reeve, being the worst workaholic known to man, would still try to go into work, but eventually he gave in, knowing vincent was in the right and that he really needed to take a break)

DAY SEVEN - Reeve, Vincent, Chaos Once again, everyone knew it was coming, so let's go ahead and get it out of the way.  I feel a little down, though.  Every time I post Reeve and Vincent as a couple, I lose followers.  If people can build an empire out of "let's go to our room," why do all the hints from Dirge only equate to "crack ship"?  It's not that I want people to force themselves to like something they're not into, I just don't understand why it's so unloved...  Anyway, this marks the end of my self indulgence. Tomorrow begins the first real test of your FF7 knowledge.
