I also think I made a mistake concerning the newest dialog - at first I thought Lana had a new voice actor (german) but it sounds like it changes during the same cutscene and other works of her actress do vary in their tone as well. So either it just sounds weird or the usual actress wasn't available during a re-record.

I don't know.

Tbh 40% of my excitement towards the next dialog with her are my curiosity if she truly has a new voice actress. Alas, I couldn't find anything in the webs.

So maybe it's just me.

prom fic! prom fic! or a scene in need of a wip haha.

prom fic (aka lately you’ve been feeling so good i forget my future for the layperson) was actually originally a short throwaway line in a scene in another fic that i ended up not writing, but was essentially just jack thinking about how he and kent went to prom with other girls bc they felt like they had to and had a shit time and then jack regretted it later.

but THEN the combination of me wondering why they’d even bother going to prom and also discovering the song prom by sza around the same time (a very pre-draft jackparse song), made me think of the scene in the guest room which is what i wrote the fic around. but more specifically the blowjob in the guest room. and even more specifically these lines: Kent's fingers slip into Jack's hair, tugging gently. Jack lets out a quiet, helpless grunt. He closes his eyes for a second because this touch is the first thing all night that's made him feel like he exists.

those were the first lines i had for the entire fic and then the rest of the fic was me battering jack with all the little ways i could make him feel like he doesn’t exist which is why it’s just relentless disappointment lmao.

'go your way and you go mine' for the fic title ask game!

okay, so my initial thoughts are either a break up of a couple who got together predraft (mcstrome or quinn hughes/brady tkachuk) or an expansion draft fic, and because this is my world I will simply choose: both

i’m thinking of a fic where brady and quinn get together while they’re still roommates in the usntdp and it maybe carries over for a bit after the draft, when quinn is still playing collegiate hockey. they break up because of the distance/difficulty maintaining a secret relationship when hockey and distance make it hard.

it would be a parallel timeline of the early stage of their relationship to their breakup with the other timeline being post brady getting drafted to seattle and what that means for them now that they’d be in the same conference / like a 2-3 hour drive from each other as they slowly make their way back together and learn the parts of the other they missed post break up

send me a made-up fic title and i’ll tell you what i would write to go with it

Colorado Avalanche: What’s something that excites you about your current WIP?

Everything.  And I’m talking about the Flyers!Sid fic in particular here. I almost can’t shut up about it because I’m just always exploding with new ideas for it.  There’s just so many little things about it.  It’s Sid/Claude, but it’s also such a strong Flyers ensemble and full of their chaos and we get to see Sid molding himself to and adapting that chaos into his day-to-day, but it’s also kinda angsty because Sid slowly learns just how much of himself he was really suppressing over the years (to the point where he kind of forgot he was suppressing in the first place), but it’s also beautiful because it’s a journey of self (re)discovery and there’s just so many little scenes where that builds up, and also it’s a bit of a love letter to the city I miss a lot right now and just..........yeah
