Don’t worry, I’m not dead
But I’m convinced that my years of browsing and using this site was more of a phase and was done only because most of my online peers from back then were moving here, rather than out of a sincere interest.
It had it good moments, aaaand...not a whole lot beyond that.
Most people say they like it because they could easily befriend people that share their interests, but that I almost never had that experience (with some exceptions granted). At most, more than half of the people I’m friends with here are people I’ve known and interacted with long before I made this blog. Yet I stuck around for a while, because to an extent, there are some worthwhile stuff on here (art and photography, heck, even fucking memes of all things) if you looked in the right places.
Though in retrospect, This site’s hardly artist friendly in terms of curating and archiving imo.
Anyway, tl;dr version: Being on this site, even from the beginning, always felt like that one party you weren’t really invited to yet your peers keep telling you it’s gonna be awesome.
Nah, I’m not gonna ignite this blog to kingdom come (at least not anytime soon), Nor will I give up on my art endeavors but I honestly don’t see any reason to maintain a presence on here anymore.
Thanks for hearing me out, as for anyone who’s been following me has added me as a friend on here, I wish you nothing but best of luck.
Stay gold
If things you say on Twitter are tweets, then things you say on Tumblr should be tumbs. I deeply want this new word to catch on. Very streets ahead.
