This blog is for photos and art and tummies and positivity and inspiration. I take special joy in deleting hate mail, but I don’t want to have to delete important questions just because I can’t answer them publicly. ♥ Love and thanks to you all!

“I thought this blog would be the best place to express this :) I have a wonderful boyfriend who is very insecure with his body. He is perfect and chubby and so cute but he always gets so sad because we go to stores together and they never have many things in his size. I think he is the most perfect thing to bless this planet and I wanted to know how he really feels. I asked him if he loved his stretch marks and he said no because they are “hideous”. That broke my heart into a million pieces. I told him that they are absolutely beautiful and they are one of the biggest reasons he is so handsome and it made his whole day :) he said that makes him so happy and I’m so glad that he’s on the road to realizing how beautiful his body is. People think of women when they think of stretch marks but men have them just as frequently. I hope every boy who is insecure about his stretch marks finds someone who thinks they are adorable <3″

Update on my life: I've lost over 23lbs this school year and continue to strive for a healthier lifestyle. I chose this photo because it makes me feel beautiful and I'm so excited to start looking like the first grade teacher I've always imagined myself to be.

I’ve felt weird about my body, ESPECIALLY my stomach, ever since I can remember. In daily life I’m inclined to hide my stomach with loose shirts and high-waisted pants and to carry myself in a certain way to make my midsection look leaner. But those last two photos are the real deal! I’m slooooowwwwllly learning that not everyone (and hardly anyone) looks like the people in movies, TV, and ads- and that that’s ok. These blogs really help out with that! Yay for real-deal tummies!
