The Finalizer's alarm systems nearly gave me a heart attack this afternoon.
Today I learned that many of the alarms had a default sound. Meaning, the beep for something like "TIE fighter improperly connected to launching rack in hangar" had the EXACT SAME TONE as the beep for "All the ship's turbolasers are simultaneously overheating and the ship will explode in less that one hour."
After about 30 minutes of running around the ship at speeds never before seen by man while hoping I still had time to say "Goodbye" to my loved ones as alarms blared around me, I managed to discover the real issue. I reconnected the TIE fighter and, eventually, got my heart rate back to normal.
I have since changed some settings in the alarm system to make sure that future beeps will have different tones and volumes which reflect the appropriate levels of urgency.
