Me on valentines day:
One of the best things about Ragnarok is how absolutely fucking oblivious Turid is the entire time.
Maybe season 2 is going to end up being about who Laurits really is.
As in they find out that Vidar is his father.
Magne got to know a pretty heavy secret in the end of the first season. Vidar killed his dad.
Magne might go around in the new season and try to find more secrets that the Jutul family or what his family is hiding. Trying to get justice for his fathers death. Since Thor, which is the god that resides within him, is the god of justice, he would really want to find out what happened.
We saw in the entire first season, Magne really wanted to find justice for Isolde and find out the thing that she was so adamant about solving the mystery of everyone and everything being so Sick in the town. Who’s to say he would not want to try and find justice for his father as well.
Laurits theory
Laurit’s could be Turid’s and Vidar’s kid.
It is not a far off theory, but it does paint Turid in a different light.
It is mentioned so many times and it is hinted at in the show that Turid has some feelings for Vidar.
It is also mentioned to Vidar that he and Turid had something back in the day.
Something happened between them back in the day, before Turid and her boys left Edda.
Making the Theory that Laurits is Loki much stronger
A child of a Jötun, and Loki is half Jötun.
(Also him dancing with Saxa and Fjor at the spring party is a good symbol that he is a Jötun)
Also making my theory that Turid is Laufey a little bit stronger.
bonus theory:
Layfey also has another name and it is Nál (needle). She was called this because she was apparently slender and weak.
Turid isn’t that slender, but maybe she was back in the day, but she is a little weak. It is really easy for her to spiral and is having a rough time taking care of her boys.
This post is all over the place but it’s a conversation starter
