Equilibrium Boots
Somewhere deep in the ocean: “What are we looking for?” “I don't know," she says watching sea life swimming to avoid the current overhead.
"Then what do we do?" “Let the current take us, save our resources and then reactivate once we get there,” she says. “Get where?" "We'll know that when we see it." They both tap the button on the screen on their forearm. Lights switch off on their boots.
The current begins pulling them forward. Boots drag across the ocean floor. Soon, they are lifted into the speeding water.
He fights for control. Awkwardly straining for balance. “Don’t fight it.” She advises.
Tumbling. Spinning. Jostling through the water. Head over feet, the current pulls them into darker, depths. They begin picking up speed, hurtling them closer toward the source. “I see something, commander,” he shouts. Several yards ahead of them a shadow looms; the source of the rapid current. “Engage boots on my mark,” she says.
She rolls sideways, and the force of the current pushes her arms together. “Mark”.
She taps her button. Lights blink on. Power up chimes. She drops out of the current and her boots zero in on the ground. She tries to change her angle. At this speed coming to a complete stop will tear her in half... She skids across the ocean floor; her boots searching for a firm hold. She tries to get her soles on the ground but the sand kicks up a fine dust. She reaches a patch of rock...finally, the boots lock on. She stops abruptly. She digs her halligan deep into the sand to keep from slinging forward. She hears commotion over her comms. She looks up to see her partner struggling to tap his button as he flips in the current. “Turin, re-engage.” “I’m....trying. Can’t reach.”
He grits his teeth as he struggles against the water pressure keeping his arms apart. “Use the force of the current.” He begins fumbling around as he tries to reposition his body. “You need to do it now. You’re getting too close to the edge.” He continues riding the current, out of control. His body tossed about like seaweed. Turin finally manages to flip sideways and mashes his screen. His boots power up and re-engage. They draw him to the ground and he tumbles to a stop right at the edge of a deep abyss. His boots lock on and snap his body upright violently. He groans in pain. The commander steps up and peers over the edge. Rising up out of the abyss is a massive structure sitting in the middle of the black expanse. Water shadows dance across its face. The symbols etched into its thick walls are foreign. Blue light pulses through the seams as a turbine churns in the center, sucking in the ocean. Dark blue waters disappear into its massive framework. “What is it?” “Trouble”
Virgo vs The Zodiac (RPG Maker) - Part 1 | Flare Let’s Play:
Welcome to @virgovsthezodiac, a turn-based RPG made in RPG Maker MV where you play as Virgo, the personified sign, who wants to purge all the other signs from the Zodiac.
Virgo is determined to purge the whole Zodiac of their sins, based on her own ideals of perfection in order to bring back the Golden Age, a period of peace, stability, prosperity and harmony to the sacred celestial system.
This video comprises of all of the demo to Virgo vs The Zodiac from start to finish, don't be confused by "Part 1", Part 2 of this let's play will be the next download of the game, delivered through a similar fashion where we explore through the next realm and defeat their ruler like Capricorn!
For an RPG Maker game, this is one of the most well made games put together, original artwork and music makes an already fascinating plotline have an extra layer to it! Interactivity with items, equipment, abilities, Save Dinosaur and so on is a really strong point in my book Multiple art styles too is a wonderful scenery, from the pixel styled artwork on the map to the digitally lovely artwork of character busts.

Star Trek Trexels II, a turn-based mobile game for trekkies
Star Trek Trexels II, a turn-based mobile game for trekkies
Remember the good old PC turn-based games we used to play back in early 90s. Well, folk at Kongregate developed what they call Star Trek Trexels II, a mobile game reminiscent of UFO: Enemy Unknown DOS game of that time with 8-bit graphics and turn-based strategy movement. But this time around you get to explore strange new worlds, new civilizations instead of playing under water. All you have to…
