These are very traditionally "Jewish" wedding things. (Yes I am Jewish and have been to a LOT of weddings) But, as we know from his recent talks with Dirk, he learned a lot from movies so he may have picked this up from some movie just as likely!

It’s good to know and this does make a lot of sense. Especially when you think about what we know of the Strider household, they don’t seem to be the type of people that would follow any type of religion ( or at least that’s how I see them)
