Thinking about how in turnabout goodbyes when you’d expect to see the killer you’re instead shown Edgeworth with the gun which makes the player, even if they have their doubts, suspect Edgeworth as the real killer even if it’s only for a moment. And yet under those circumstances, when everyone, not even the player, completely believes in Edgeworth, Phoenix still doesn’t doubt his innocence for a second

Has amnesia around a traumatic event.
Remembers said traumatic event as a dream.
Blames himself for said traumatic event even though it's likely not his fault.

(Someone please help me. The fact that I looked at Edgeworth's backstory and went "he's like Noelle Holiday!" isn't a sane thing to conclude I've suffered from too much Deltarune brain rot help me...)

Former friends or not or pinning from childhood, it has a lot of feels as unintentional it was.

IT’S DONE RAAAAHHH. I started playing Ace Attorney and I really really really really really like it. Miles and Phoenix are an old married couple lmao. Try looking for every reference on this drawing. It’s the first time I do a drawing like this with this worked background full of easter eggs and references to the video games. It’s unavoidable to live them. I also would like to write a one shot about them too. Maybe one like the Poirot and Hastings’s one, with around 10000 words or so. I have to do the second part of this drawing, the one with Phoenix. Lately I’ve been working of reference sheets for my OCs, so I’m not sure of when I’ll do it. Anyways, hope you like this one.

I’ll sometimes see people make fanart or something to do with the DL-6 incident and write underneath or in the fanart “don’t forget DL-6” and I’ll get super emotional about that line before suddenly remembering that that line was said by a fucking parrot and honestly I think that sums up the ace attorney experience
Even Miles believes Manfred is all that. He is a terrifying image for Miles.
His profile description had changed entirely! Gone is the anything to get a guilty verdict!
Phoenix being old mean. He doesn't even let Miles forget he's similar. Edgeworth here implied something else. Like...forging. and Phoenix just as said it. Phoenix really believed he forged evidence. Sad. AA1 Edgeworth never forged but he prepped his cases and does manipulate cases in a way to win. Where the defense won't get the chance to put doubt. Wrong but remember Miles was in the belief all defendants are guilty.
Manfred's an awful man. Even Miles could not call him mentor. Was Miles not allowed to?
Maya is the MVP for questioning Lotta. He's Mr. Emotionally Constipated. Not that Phoenix is all that different.
