Touch the Floating Fruit // Mimi&Mist
((YOU SAID I COULD BOTHER YOUR CHARACTERS SO I'M GONNA DO IT)) Having finally found a place in Trampoli where the sky was clearly visible, Mimi stood out on the path between Mist's house and a set of stone steps leading into the ground, catching snowflakes on her tongue and being largely oblivious to her surroundings.
((i hope this isn’t terribly late!!!))
Mist was making some cocoa for herself. It was snowing lightly out, and so it was weather for warm drinks. Just as she was about to take a sip from the mug, she thought she heard a noise from outside. She put the mug down on the table and went to her window. There seemed to be a girl out in the snow, having fun.
Without thinking much about it, or even grabbing a jacket, Mist found herself heading out the door. The breeze was cold but refreshing, in a way. She pranced her way over to the stranger, until she was standing beside her.
"Magical weather, isn’t it?" she said.
Mimi glanced over at the person who approached her, tongue still hanging out of her mouth and trying to catch a falling snowflake. "Ih ihhhh!" she said, before realizing that speaking with her tongue hanging out of her mouth would make her pretty much unintelligible. She faced her head back forward and returned her tongue to where it belonged. "Yeah! I was trying to see how many snowflakes I could catch on my tongue, but these, um..." She reached out for one of the happy floating fruit-looking things above her head, unsure of whether or not it would be tangible. "These things keep flying above me whenever I look up."
