It’s trusting that the story being written for me is bigger than the chapter I tried so hard to hold onto.

Not a replacement, but the real thing.

Something that doesn’t demand I fight to prove I deserve it.

Something that feels like peace instead of struggle.

Something that looks at me and says, “Finally. There you are.”

I may not know when that day will come.

Summary: The Pogues decided to play truth or dare but little did they know y/n has never kissed anyone before!

The pogues are sitting on John B’s boat. You and Kiara laying down sun baking, John B and Sarah cuddling and laughing together near the back of the boat and Pope and JJ up the front fishing. Kiara suddenly sits up “JB turth or dare?” She smirks.

John B looks around “uhh dare” he smiles knowing she wanted him to pick turth so she could ask him exactly how he feels about Sarah.

A frown appears on her face when he doesn’t pick dare “Skinny dip” she laughs at him and Sarah quickly looks up shaking her head to tell him not to do it.

“Don’t worry, it’ll be quick” He kisses the top of head and starts taking his clothes off. You quickly cover your eyes when he pulls his boxers off and only uncover them when you hear a splash in the water. JJ and Pope cheering him on.

“Okay! Okay! That’s enough JB. That’s enough” Sarah stands up near the back of the boat holding out a towel. John B grabs it and wraps it around his waist leaving a quick kiss on Sarah’s lips. They play a couple of rounds with everyone picking turth.

“jj turth or dare” Sarah smiles and sits up looking at him.

“Dare. Because you’s are all pussies and aren’t picking it” he smirks and laughs

Sarah looks around the group and her eyes land on you. She’s the only one that knows you have had a crush on jj from the moment you met him and she’s also the only one that knows you haven’t even had your first kiss. Everyone just assumes that you have because of the way you act at times. A smirk spreads across Sarah’s face as soon as she makes eye connect with you and you automatically start shaking your head.

“I dare you to kiss y/n” she smiles at me and then at jj “oh and no shorter then 5 seconds”

“Ohh come on that’s easy. Kissing is my speciality.” he smirks walking over to where your sitting on the boat and leans down pulling the joint he was smoking from his mouth “it’s alright for me to kiss you right?” You feel butterflies in my stomach when you look into his bright blue eyes, and seeing how close he is to you. Was this it? The moment you’ve waited so long for. A thousand thoughts run through your head ‘what if I’m not any good, what if I don’t know what to do and what if he thinks I’m horrible’ without even recognising your doing it you nod your head to say that it’s alright.

A smirk appears, his hand goes to the side of your face rubbing your cheek with his thumb, he leans in closer and his lips land on yours. It felt like fireworks, his soft lips slowly kissing yours made you feel like you were in heaven. You couldn’t believe this was actually happening, after all this time of wishing it would. You pull away slowly when you feel his tongue try to enter my mouth. He stands up and smiles “see easy, next time give me a harder one” he sits down beside you smiling. You look over at Sarah who’s grinning ear to ear and smile slightly. They continue on with the game and you feel jj move closer to you and whisper in your ear “y/n for your first kiss, you weren’t horrible” he smiles “but don’t worry we have plenty of time to practice getting your skills prefect.”
