Writing Thingy

10. “Do you know where you are?”

"Do you know where you are?"

"No," Hazel answered, small quiver to her voice, "No. Where-"

Amelia sighed.

The old lady walked across the car. Hazel tried to keep up. When she said she would have to take care of herself, she really meant it.

The buildings in the car were weird. They didn't have walls. And there were turtles everywhere. The turtles seemed nice. One of them looked really angry, though.

"This was one of the the first cars I made," the old lady grunted, "It would've been the one where you were created."

Oh yeah. Hazel clenched her fingers. She wasn't really real. "Do you miss your person?"

Another sigh. Amelia was good at those. She did them a lot. "With all my heart."
