I have recently reached over 100 followers on this blog, yay!

To commemorate this glorious accomplishment, I've decided to give you guys too much information about myself that you certainly didn't ask for. Let's go!

Hello there! My name is Elizabeth and the ferocious dog attacking me is Sadie. I'm 20 years old (for now) and quite literally living in my parents basement. I blame the economy. I'm a self-employed hairstylist and when I'm not at the salon, I work part time in an insurance office. Yes, it is exactly as boring as it sounds.

My eyes disappear when I smile 👀 oh well. I live in suburban Iowa, USA and tend to post between 10-11:59pm CST. It is a rare day that I post outside of that time frame.

Just as I thought I was back on track with my daily drawing challenge day 14 disappeared on me before I found a moment to pick up a pen.

It seemed appropriate then to feature the humble turtle in today's illustration. Not known for their speed, but then speed isn't always the key to success.
