â - @turtle-tyrant Continued!
For the love of cherry pie why was he such a hot-head? It would be hypocritical to say that Dedede wasnât but when Bowser got all riled up he was virtually impossible to talk to.Â
Dedede folded his arms and turned his gaze elsewhere. Anywhere would be a great deal nicer to look at than inside of this rust bucket!
The latter kingâs bellowing is muffled and sets the tone for just how eerie it is being out here inâŠhold up! Was that just?âŠNo it couldnât be. They had passed this dang tree three times already and every time it started to appear more likeâŠWhispyâŠWoodsâŠThey were lost in Whispy Woods?! At least they were safe in this ridiculous tin can of Bowserâs and-The engine began to sputter itâs last breath of oil. Great. Just great. Now they were stuck here.
â Well I declare, sheâs dun dud. â To emphasise his âdeclarationâ Dedede gave a kick to the vehicle. Truth be told King Dedede knew exactly how much trouble the pair of them were in right now! Whispy Woods was renown for being a traveller trap, especially at night! Everywhere you would turn the trees seemed to be aligned the same. Navigating your way out of these woods was near impossible even in the daylight.
Bowser was already feeling the heat by looks of things but then again the koopa was always throwing his weight about. What was he trying to prove anyway?
â What?! Walk?! â Bowserâs form may have been able to cope with trekking miles upon miles but Dedede was far too lazy and overweight for that. With a groan of protest Dedede slid himself out of the passenger seat and groggily stepped towards Bowser. â Chicken legs? Listen hear I ainât no chicken, shell head! Iâma...-eh? Â â Well what species of bird he is is irrelevant. â I ainât no chicken. â
Bowserâs attempts to hush his words did nothing to stifle what was already coming from this beak. â Hah, ya ainât foolinâ me, Bows'eh, I knowâs'yer lost âcus ya donât even know what neck of the woods yer in. â
Rather than following the intransigent Bowser the King of Dreamland attempted to oppose him by blocking his path. â You ainât had no idea where we been goinâ all day anâ if I follow you weâs'gonna be lost all night! This here ainât no ordinary woods. This here is Whispy Woods! â That was right and in the overbearing darkness of the night sky this place was dark and ominousâŠextremely dark and ominous for that matter.
Somehow he still manged to follow in toe of Bowser and due to his rotund exterior he could not go as far as the the latter without becoming overwhelming exhausted. This was a mere twenty minutes into their travels on foot.
â I donât wanna be lost in these here creep'eh woods! IâmâŠworn slap out. I need t'sit down⊠and I miss mâbed! â He whined, panting in between his words.
King Dedede plopped himself down onto the ground in a state of pouting and stubbornly refused to press on any further. â This is all your fault! â
