“Your ancestors do not walk with us”

Hello everybody! I thought it out and decided this will probably be my last actual Rowanclan post for this year, No moon event this time.

I want to get some reference sheets done aswell as figure out what to do with the artstyle and layout changes. I promise i’m not giving Rowanclan up, there are big things in their future I’m so excited to share.

I’m also going through a bit of art block, so i’m trying not to do digital art for a while.

Hope you guys enjoyed, I’ll leave you to mull over what the comic means, and I hope everybody has a happy holiday!

- Locustfeather’s tail was badly injured by a dog

- Sloefog’s tail was removed

- The cat formerly from another clan has recovered form their injury, but as a side effect they have raspy lungs. They get lost in the territory but manage to find their way back unharmed. They shed their name and gain their new one: Turtleholly

Moon 8

- There is an infection growing in Whisperprance’s broken bone.

Moon 9

- An injured warrior from another clan asks to join in exchange for healing.

- Sloefog has phantom pain in their tail… or lack of one.

- The cats meet a Kittypet called Toyota on a patrol, but they go separate ways.

Six kits are apprenticed, Brookstar trusts that they will serve their clan well.

Moorpaw is apprentices to Locustfeather, Wisppaw is apprenticed to Sloefog, Morningpaw is apprenticed to Weedthistle, Halfpaw is apprenticed to Aphidheather, Hyacinthpaw is apprenticed to Morningwisp, and Whistlepaw is apprenticed to Whiskerprance.

- Moonhowl is having a hard time recovering from birth

- Moorpaw is apprenticed to Locustfeather, Shineleaf gives the young cat cicada wings to commemorate the experience

- Moorpaw’s tail was badly injured by a fox

- A sick kittypet is found crying by the thunderpath. They are taken in to be treated

- Turtleholly realises that they’re nonbinary

- Halfpaw realises that molly doesnt describe how they feel anymore and comes out as a tom

I am finally back! Bit of a different format, but i hope you can see why Updates will take bit longer now. I’m playing around with different artstyles so they’ll be weird for a bit.

Also I kinda messed up the apprentices, Halfpaw has Morningwisp and Hyacinth has Aphidheather, but for the story it doesn’t really matter.
