I started Bramble today, so I'm gonna walk y'all through the moments that impressed me the most:

1. It isn't the most impressive thing, but I did get startled. Plus, it's pretty cool

2. It's giving jobless. It's giving unemployed. It's giving rancid. It's giving some of y'all's questionable crushes.

3. A parent covering their child's ears while they both died. The game's kinda dark.

4. I KNOW THIS BITCH

I KNOW HER FROM THE 6 HOUR LONG MIDSOMMAR ESSAY THAT I LIKE. IT'S THE PRINCESS THAT GOT LOST IN HER REFLECTION ON THE WATER.

Prince Steve is lost in the deep dark forest.

Decided to draw Steve inspired by Ayes and Kleo’s fic However Wild - and heavily inspired by the art of John Bauer.

The fic is a fairytale, so I wanted to infuse this piece with some Swedish fairytale vibe, as a little twist is my own :)

• John Bauer # 4 • Trolls & Tuvstarr • . This was a little bit of a challenge, to get the details right but not too dark.. Bauers art is very dark and I wanted my series and interpretations to be a little brighter. A little more like John Bauer meets Tove Jansson. So yeah, this piece was a difficult one! But after some cursing and a lot of coffee later it turned out great! And fit right into the series! . I really REALLY love doing this series. I have had it in my mind for so long.. But never got it down on paper. I guess it’s a little bit scary to interpret one of your favorite artists. But I’m so so happy I finally did it! . Swipe to see Bauers piece → .
