Today on Talk TV
Hi Family! This is perfect for #TransformationTuesday. I have an advice segment airing on #BillCunningham at 1pm EST. I'm on in the last 15. The show airs on the CW Network nationwide. xoxo
Last night I made the possibly foolish decision to start watching Dr. Who.
I have seen some of the old show and I always thought it was funny so it's been a long time coming since I checked out this reboot. And I really like it, just as you all said I would. Although I should mention that the reason I love this doctor so much (i'm not sure which number he is) is probably because Christopher Eccleston looks an awful lot like a non-buff version of Robert Irvine.
and you all know how I feel about Robert Irvine. (I couldn't find matching pics, but they have the same smile too. *swoons*)
Anyway, since I'm enjoying the whoverse so much, I thought i'd ask some tumblr fans if there are any other things (movies, old episodes) that I should watch. Either to better understand the story or just for funsies. What do you say?
Thanks for the Doctor Who advice :) ! I'll try and start at he beginning of 9 :)!!
Glad I could help!
So I feel like a horrible person because of this but I've only seen a couple episodes of the most recent Doctor Who season. I loved it but I'm really overwhelmed by what season to start at because I don't want to miss too much..!
I get to give TV advice?! This is great!
Okay, when I started Who I regrettably skipped Nine*. I felt like I did miss a little bit (especially with Lady Cassandra and Captain Jack) but not so much that I couldn't get into the show. If you have the time, I would start at the beginning of New Who with Nine. If you just want to get into the newest season, try S5 or S6 (where Eleven come in). It took me about two months to watch five season, but it was so worth it! But if you skip some seasons, go back and watch them later :)
*For the record, I skipped Nine because they got deleted off of OnDemand, and by the time I got Netflix, I was already partway through S3. But I went back and watched them all!
