Popular shows I hate, a hater post:
Game of Thrones - too lazy to create an actual fantasy world, too lazy to do historical research and write a historical novel. Nudity rape and violence do not make you complex, just woman hating and gross.
Heated Rivalry - congrats on proving that gay shows can be as stupid as straight shows. Fucking does not a romance make, and two boring dudes aren’t complex just because they are gay, and don’t get me into the way it deal with the Russian thing.
Off Campus - at least HR was out of the box with the main romance being gay. This doesn’t even have that. Also sex is great but it does not romance make. This is brain dead.
Brigerton - a ton of terribly unattractive people exist in a world of world building so uniquely illogical that it should be studied. All the chemistry and depth of a puddle.
Squid Games - we are so clever to show lots of violence and gross ways to die for money - aka moral bankruptcy makes bank.
Corollary to SQ comment - Every Netflix original kdrama ever made - if I wanted to watch an American show I would. Congrats on destroying a whole industry.
Hidden Love - this puddle is so shallow if you drank from it you’d die of thirst.
Rings of Power - I dunno where the money went but it wasn’t to hire actors who look like elves or do a decent story and what the fuck is wrong with the makers having Sauron x Galadriel. Someone should have shoved that script into a lava pit.
