Mmm. I think she’s just some kind of demon, maybe plague related demon? I bet Hell has those. She’s mean, a brat, and tends to be in places you don’t want her to be AND tends to stick around even when she knows she’s unwelcome or wanted. Angie just gives no shits, she goes where she goes. A real force of nature, so to speak. She likes cheesy snacks and doom scrolling on her phone.

One of my Fallout OCs, Phoebe. She’s a religious individual and often led prays and sermons while in the vault. She’s easily susceptible to cults ✌🏻 She’s desperate to find meaning within the world after the war. She does eventually become a ghoul.

I do so love drawing my Cerberus in different forms. I actually have a short comic idea for them but… I am unsure if it’ll go anywhere. Not sure I could make a good looking comic.

This Cerberus is a CHILD FORM. She is actually a daughter of, like, THE Cerberus. In my little idea, she is one child of many that have been tasked with guarding opening to the underworld. She is the youngest. :) Her mother is “unknown” but Cindy seemingly as the power of foresight and clairvoyance (to some degree; the power is weak and uncontrollable). She also has powers of strength, fast healing, and the ability to transform to various degrees (monsterous form, human form, kemonomimi form), however she is unable to hide her 3rd eye completely.

Just some very self indulgent fan art for my most favorite band.. Ghost! They released a new album in April and there’s a song called “Satanized” on there and all my brain could visualize was “evil baptism?” lol. I’ve actually had this sketch for a while but couldn’t get myself to do any coloring or line art. I just didn’t feel like I could really capture WHAT I was visualizing.. it didn’t help that in my brain his hair and clothing were moving in the “water” and that his eyes were blinking (maybe glowing at times). I’m no animator… though a I dabble, but I do not enough skill to masterly capture the image I want AND make it move.

Anyway, my thought on the song (that no one asked for) :

If you know anything about Ghost.. it’s that they’re basically a rock band making satire music about the Church/religion, sometimes meaningful and sometimes funny. Their whole costume-look and fantasy “lore” is based around an evil/dark church. (I love that they have LORE, lol). I think the song “Satanized” is about a “Good” Clergymen fighting his desires and attempting to devote himself to his faith, however he is failing. His desires (we do not know if they are good or bad), are consuming him and he does give into those demons. Making him no longer a clergy man for the Faith he believed in and now Satanizing him (which I chose to kinda create by having him “baptized” in reddish liquid). A sort of, hey you fell from Grace, welcome to your new Satanic church. Committing the sin maybe was the baptism? That’s my thoughts/opinions on the matter, you’re welcome.

Plastic Chair in Wood by Maarten Baas (2008)

I'm obsessed with this chair. The artist takes a flimsy hunk of injection-molded plastic that's been cost-cut to hell and back, and insists that we look at it with fresh eyes and understand its beauty. And they went about it in the most labor-intensive way I can think of.

Absolutely nothing about this design is convenient to execute in wood. Every piece is curved, most have compound curves. This is artisan craftsmanship: it's inherently slow, manual, and skilled. Notice, also, that most features of this chair must be thicker and heavier than on the plastic chairs being imitated. Injection-molded chairs can be produced in this shape in a matter of minutes with far less material at very low cost.

If these flowing, organic curves are so beautiful in polished wood, perhaps they are also beautiful in the mass-produced chairs that are far more accessible. Perhaps we should remember to admire designs that succeed enough to become ubiquitous. I don't know about you, but I'll never see injection-molded chairs the same way again.

I have been really struggling with art, especially larger projects. I cannot believe how well this turned out and I am so proud of myself. I started working on this drawing on December 30th, 2024! Sometimes the sketch is so good… you worry about ruining it. So I kept coming back and restarting the drawing or leaving it for long periods of time. Tonight I sat myself down and told myself I would complete it, even if I hated the end result. And I don’t hate it! I actually really love it 🥰 I even attempted an actual background, and never do those. ^-^
