#tv obsession

i actually get too invested in shows…

i binge them so fast because i get like so obsessed, watch all the cast interviews on youtube and edits on tiktok and everything… and then i finish it and genuinely feel empty (seasonal depression/the winter darkness does not help)

but like… how do i go on with life now, anything i watch feels unfulfilling

Thoughts on the new episode of this is us:

1) I looooove Jack and Lucy. And of course baby Jack is adorable.

2) I am starting to really hate Rebecca’s parents. But I love Jack and Rebecca so much that whatever. Who cares about them.

3) I really liked the storyline of the teen dad. He’s such a good parent for his age.

4) words can’t describe how much I love Jennifer Morrison, not only hear character and storyline (which is sad but super awesome btw) but her as an actress.

5) guys!! It’s two actors from House MD!!! Isn’t that great? Plus there’s the guy from Revenge too (which is still kind of weird to me but I’ll get used to it).

I have missed this show more than I’d miss most people in my life and can not wait until next week when I returns once again

TV show challenge. [ day 29 ] current TV obsession

➺ Fear the Walking Dead

Don’t sick walkers on me when I say what I am about to say.  But, in my eyes, Fear the Walking Dead is running away from its predecessor.  No offense to the Walking Dead because I really love that show as well.

The only reason I am saying this is because this show is beautiful.  I can feel a strong family bond between the Clark’s and they just have a good vibe around them.  Also, we can see how much they have changed and hardened since the first season.

But, no matter how much they have changed and hardened.  They all still try their best to enjoy the finer things in life that remain in this zombie apocalypse.  Look at Alicia, still willingly opening her heart to others even though she knows it’s dangerous.

This show does zombies justice and isn’t poorly made to the point of you saying ugh. Watch it because this show is a light in the darkness constantly trying to swallow us.

Ah. This IS Us is back, and it’s like coming home after a long trip. I can’t think of anything that makes me happier than the return of my shows.
