hey! this is kind of a specific question, but i thought i’d ask before the author briefs go out: is it cool to write a piece that’s a spinoff (entirely self-contained) of a fic we’ve already written, or would you prefer it if we didn’t do that? i have an idea but i don’t want to be rude <3 thanks so much for putting the event together, btw!

Hey, people! I’ve received a couple DMs asking to sign up late as an author, so I figured I’d just put the link back up. It’s here, as well as on the pinned post.

Author sign-ups now close on the 27th. That day, claim cards will be getting sent out. Again, you do not have to have your story written by the 27th, only an idea for it and an estimate for word count and rating :)

Your fic can be as many chapters as you like! Posting will begin in October (or later, depending on participant feedback) and continue for however long it takes the longest fic to finish.

The max word count is a guideline so people don't get too ambitious, as the time frame for this big bang is slightly shorter than others, but if you reach that number before posting and feel you have more to write (and can finish it!!) you're welcome to do so, just let us know
