When darkness takes over- Liz ||Care
The crack of light that shifted as the curtains moved due to the fan overhead was what told Liz that dawn had arrived. Liz sat up, her eyes scanning her room. The more her eyes scanned each wall, the more it occurred to her that her current room was nothing short of that of a teenage human. Rolling her eyes, Liz threw the blanket off herself. She needed to redecorate. If the L.A vampire coven saw her room, they’d surely be disappointed. She started by taking off the pictures off her dresser. Why did she insist on having so many human friends? What a joke. She thought to herself. Secondly, Liz took her drawings off the wall. Flowers, butterflies, scenery? What was Liz? Some prep? She carelessly threw the frames into a corner of her room. The lavender wall paint had to go too. Paint. That’s what the room needed. New room. Liz was pleased with the new room. It was elegant but simple, and more importantly, dark. Opening her bedroom door, Liz was expecting to see her mother’s figure. Letting a soft smile grace her lips, Liz leaned against the door. “Hello, mother. I got in from my flight late last night. Didn’t want to wake you.” She said as sweetly as she could. “Oh, don’t give me that look. I know I said i’d only be gone a few days but it was L.A, there was far too amazing things to do for me to leave so soon. I’m sure you’d understand... now, care to tell me where my father is?”
