Gwen walked into the coffee shop, ordering her Americano and receiving her dark black coffee in a warm mug on the cool day. Looking for a seat, she noticed most of the café was filled up, save for a few seats at tables with only one person. Noticing Lucas at the back of the cafe, she made her way over. “Mind if I sit here? This place is packed.”

Confessional — Brielle and Lucas

For the past few days, Brielle had been helping people who wanted to commit suicide like herself. She was hired to help by via the suicide hotline, and it brought a smile on her face knowing that she saved a life. Taking a break from the lovely job, she walked over to the nearest coffee shop and order herself a large cup of tea. She took a small sip from the hot drink and looked around; her eyes landed on a teenage boy, so she sat across from him. "Are you okay, Lucas?" she asked her former student.
