One second, Gregory is there, then he isn't.

One things for sure; the police aren't doing anything, and Cassie feels like she's the only person on earth who sees that there's something sinister going on inside the Pizzaplex. Her brother wouldn't be missing for months if there wasn't.

If only her brothers absence didn't affect her so much, If only she could get out of bed long enough to do something about it.

Or: Gregory goes missing at his and Cassie's twelfth birthday party. This is the fear of the beginning. the uncertainty of the during, and the recovery of the after.
