it sucked at first that anyone could replace derek as meredith’s love interest, and arizona was 100% spot-on when she was talking about their love (how her heart beat for him, how they had an epic love story, how they were literally the greatest couple ever and now i’m crying)--but he grew on me, esp during the plane episode
after the plane episode i just rewatched scenes from the plane crash episode on youtube and was sobbing for an hour
i liked that riggs kept waiting until meredith was ready! and that he seemed like he was genuinely ready to fall in love again and meet the kids and everything (even though the last episode just...)

i really like them together. i like alex and jo, and i know he really loves her, but i think jo deserves a really nice guy like de luca!!

they were married for a hot sec before separating? and i know amelia needed time but OUCH when she was talking to teddy on the phone for megan and called owen her “coworker”

i really lost my shit during the episode he goes to see jo’s (brooke’s?) husband, when he ran through his mind about beating him up or the husband finding jo
except it turned out to be imagined so we good
i was so on edge with the whole prison thing, even though i knew he wouldn’t actually go to prison (because what would the show even be if ALEX left)

MEGAN!! okay, I KNEW she was still alive. bc if you don’t see the body, there’s always a chance that they’re alive (especially on a shonda show)
I love that scene where Meredith tells Riggs and she says that if it were Derek, she’d already be gone and she truly is so happy for him because even though they talked about Megan/Derek coming back like it were a fantasy, it happened for one of them. the love of his life is back.

jackson and april and maggie?? so was the hotel thing a one night stand for april and jackson? still rooting for them since i actually love april and how much she’s grown throughout the seasons ((remember when she used to be super annoying in the beginning))
