I hate how so many people think I spend my time doing nothing because I'm lazy, or that I take my Adderall for fun.
No you motherfucker, I told you several times, I have narcolepsy. I almost NEVER have the energy I need to even wash dishes or do laundry. I don't take my meds to get high. I take them because I NEED them to do basic fucking tasks.
I don't enjoy not working. I hate it. I'm in fucking debt and stressed as hell. But my PTSD and narcolepsy are so severe I can no longer function, and the more stressed I am the more my cataplexy and other symptoms flare up.
All this week has been a flare week and I'm so tired of not having energy to do simple tasks. I just wish I had access to meds again.
Everytime people are like "the drugs in aftg are so unrealistic!" I remember that time I was misdiagnosed with psychosis instead of fuckin autism and also how in middle school they decided to cure my anxiety with a high dose of ADHD medication (adderall and several others) made me manic as fuck and then I got addicted to it because it's like coke and had residual manic episodes as well as drug withdrawal issues and addiction issues for years lmao. Anyway.
realized leftism is abt being able 2 sacrifice a little security and comfort for the greater good of everyone, whereas more right-wing ideologies r abt giving up all security for the sake of a small groups

So babes, I just unlocked a random memory and I thought I would just make a quick psa.. Back when I first started night shift I would regularly take my Adderall with an energy drink. You see, despite me being a pharmacy student, I forgot Adderall is literally an amphetamine. So the combo of the 2 made my blood pressure spike so bad I would see silver spots in my vision. THIS COULD HAVE LEAD TO A FUCKING STROKE. (OR HEART ATTACK)
So pleeeeeeeease babes, never ever EVER take your meds with energy drinks.
