Haha, yes, that’s how that post was meant to be read. I like to imagine Sha Hualing being pretty much exactly like that. Like, yes, this is hers, that is hers, that thing she’s just seen for the first time is also hers, because she wants it and she’s going to take it and no one can stop her.
I often like to imagine twenty-something Mobei-Jun getting stuck babysitting child Sha Hualing at least once. Is it realistic? Nope! Is it funny? Yes! Sha Hualing’s indulgent parents are running off on a demon cruise for swingers or something, let’s allow this “nice young demon man” to watch their child!
(If you wanted to, you could expand Mobei-Jun’s childhood trauma to the point that he is a Known Softie for vulnerable demon children in the Demon Realm, but I imagine that it’s not something he would let be known because people (his shitty uncle for one) would absolutely use it against him.)
