There Was Just Something About This Joke I Found Simply Delightful

I like Tony Stark but only in the self titled Iron man movies, because in those he faces the consequences for his actions that are selfish and based on ego. Like rhodey and pepper actually call him out, but when its a team movie, suddenly he can do no wrong.

for me tony stark always walked a very fine line of morality. his background was being a war profiteer who didn’t realize war profiteering was bad until he was personally victimized at age 45. and in his own films he does try to redeem himself! he learns from his mistakes, rhodey and pepper keep him in line, etc. but in the ensemble films? he’s written like a villain and treated like the most ethical in the room
