JQY (Jewish Queer Youth) is there for queer kids who are growing up in an Orthodox (or any other part of Judaism, just specifically Orthodox) home/environment. They have a virtual drop-in weekly for kids who are between 13 and 23 (Thursdays, 6:30 pm EST), free meetings with social workers who are used to working with Jewish queers, and a “hopeline” 551-579-4673 (similar to a suicide hotline). JQY has started and cultivates such a beautiful and warm community that is always ready to welcome someone new.

JQY works to teach people how important it is to include and treasure queer kids. They educate people on how the Torah includes all Queer identities. They are there to teach you how you can stay, and how you can leave the more religious sides of Judaism. There is a in person center, although I don’t know if it is currently opened, where they serve hot meals and they are there to help if you’re homeless. I think you would like to know, that one time I was explaining Minecraft YouTuber drama to my mother (it was back when the whole translation mod thing happened) and I was telling her what happened (in polish because I'm polish) and she said something along the lines of "dobra to co zrobił ten kłak?"( she was generally bored with the topic and wanted me to get to the point) and that was when I realized every time I said quackity my mom heard kłak-ity. So now I only thing of him as "ten kłak"
