Over the last 2 years I have gained 10kg (probably more, I haven't weighed myself since january)
Over the last 2 years I have gained 4 inches around each of my thighs.
2 pants sizes.
Recovering from an eating disorder is really horrible, you're dealing with losing/gaining control and eating things you're afraid of and breaking habits and at the same time your body is doing the ONE THING that you fought against that whole time: getting bigger.
So yeah, my size 8/10 thighs are still pretty thin. And sure, they BARELY touch at the tops.
but I used to have size 4 thighs and they are now, to me, thick (and strong and athletic and great, but their size makes me uncomfortable on a daily basis). I don't want to feel invalidated because I'm still thin, because in my BDD eyes I am disgustingly massive and dealing with how I look is a daily struggle.
