You open the book you see grumpy traumatised man you assume he’s similar to Mr Regression Yoo Hoonghyuk, when in reality Jaehwan is the Mr President of Anti Regression. The President of breaking down the walls that limit you, Mr Heavily Hinted Cthulhu Inspired Man Jaehwan. Like. They could not physically be more different.

If anything, Jaehwan is more similar to Han Sooyoung at the end of the novel, when he starts to write. Considering he’s also the stsrt of the world, the First Nightmare, its a very fun parallel with the Oldest Dream. The Oldest Dream dreams about the world of the novel (one could argue on who was first, the book or the reader, but we don’t actually know) to escape his life, while Jaehwan has a Nighmare about the world ending and being a hero in that world. They’re both dreaming up the world, and can be considered outer gods, with twaft being far less specific about the details than orv. Honestly this makes me want to write them meetting omgggggg

Idk. We dont know thst much about them, both novels are very obscure but ahhhhhhhhhh i love them
