So, I'm outlining, and I meant to type "Derek Hale Style" and it came out "Derek Hale Stiles".
Tumblr, I have a problem.
Okay, F*** this S***. I need to suck it up, outline, and deadline. I'm never going to finish this fic if I don't buckle down.
Okay, what I think I'll be doing is just waiting till the fic is finished, and THEN worry about a beta. Since I'm aiming to finish in 10 days, that's still plenty of time before final deadlines to have the edits/critiques back.
So, I just went on LJ and found out that the user who agreed to beta my big bang piece has deleted their account.
Sent out an email, and found that she's taking an indefinite hiatus from fandom, and for that, I sent along some virtual hugs of support and well wishes.
Now, though, I need a new beta.
Checkpoint 2 is in 2 days. Here's to hoping I can crank out a good chunk before then so I can feel like I haven't entirely wasted the time between this check in and the last.
Okay, F*ck it. I'm skipping ahead in my fic. This scene is lackluster, and will not be good if forced. I have TONS of ideas for later in the fic!
I just went to my favorite baby names website to name a minor OC, and after looking at two pages, they made me do a mini political survey to continue to the next page. WTF???
