One thing I will always love about The Winchesters is how petulant it is about its romance parallels. It really is knocking you over the head with parallels to Dean’s feelings in particular.

The show is built around the choosing—the running your own race despite your circumstances.

TWC Re-Watch: Cloak of Darkness

If Ahsoka is with Luminara, then where is Bariss? Is she sick? Is there a Padawan exchange program and she's stuck with Anakin? Someone please write that story. Heck, maybe I will.  Stay tuned.

TWC Re-Watch: Slaves of the Republic

So, guard overseeing Obi-Wan’s interrogation recognizes him immediately from the Holonet, and it made me wonder if Queen Miraj doesn’t recognize Anakin too.  When she hands him the whip during the auction scene, she demands that ‘Lars Quell’ prove he is really a slaver and, after he wake up calls him by his real name without asking it first. It’s like their cover was blown the second anyone saw their faces. As a side note, did she actually know that Anakin had been a slave before or was that all part of her plot to gaslight him into thinking that Jedi=slavery?  Either way I am convinced that got handsy with him at the very least, and possibly coerced him into a bit more.  See Coming Out of My Cage, Doing Just Fine for further thoughts on that.
