More .... Very very early sketches for the book #shipwreckers #Disney #hyperion of another round of captain Kevin seeing him as a goofy adventurous Pirate type character. Several rounds of these out of my system and he evolved in a more contemporary direction. Woulda been fun to see him as a pirate though. To me it’s never wasted time to explore a direction that doesn’t make the cut. I always feel that when you explore your thought process in drawing, it is stored in a giant database that is never forgotten and it accumulates during your lifetime. It has for me anyway. The gestures and personalities reveal themselves with a more intuitive searching line.
