Story of my life.
GUESS WHAT JUST FINISHED 15 MINUTES AGO HERE THAT'S RIGHT 1ST EPISODE OF THE NEW DOCTOR. I APPROVE OF PETER.
Lemon, Towel, Lighter, London, 2013
Three Words, Eight Letters
TAGGING: Rachel Berry & Finn Hudson
LOCATION: Finn's apartment
TIMEFRAME: Saturday night
Finn was both nervous and excited. Rachel was coming over, if only for a few minutes, and he had ... well, he'd pretty much told her he loved her (over text like a complete idiot). And he was pretty sure he was going to tell her, actually say the words to her, when she came over tonight. He hadn't planned it to be this way, hadn't expected to say it or feel it this soon but he did and he couldn't stop himself. He didn't know if he would if he could, if he was honest. He moved around the apartment and straightened up, making sure there were no dirty clothes just laying around or anything. He'd left the door locked so she could use her key for the first time and checked to make sure he had tea and stuff in case she wanted it. And then he went to brush his teeth because he was pretty sure there would be kissing.
Rachel practically skipped downstairs and into the living room. After telling her fathers that she was going to Mercedes for a little while, she kissed both on the cheek and made her way out the door and towards Finns. As usual, the drive wasn't long and before long she was pulling into his apartment complex. Shutting off her car, she looked down at the keys in her hand and smiled when she fingered the key to Finn's apartment. Biting on her lower lip, she grabbed her purse and made her way towards the door. She must be really insane because really, what normal person would be excited about a key? Pushing it in the lock, she slowly turned it before making her way inside with a beaming smile. "Finn!" She called out happily as she moved towards the couch, falling backwards onto it with a laugh. "I love my key!"
Finn walked out of the bathroom with a smile on his face when he heard her come in. He shook his head as he made his way over to the couch, kissing her softly before sitting beside her and pulling her legs into his lap. "I see it works just fine," he told her with a grin, leaning in to kiss her a second and third time. "I'm glad you could come over. I've missed being able to see you this week. It seemed like the only times we saw each other were in rooms full of other people." He jokingly stuck out his bottom lip. "That's not okay. We need to figure something out because if I don't get a regular Rachel fix, I might make this face more often." He stuck out his bottom lip in a pathetic matter and made the sound of a whimpering puppy. "I just added the sound effect."
Rachel hummed softly as she pressed her lips to Finn's. "Yes!" She said happily. As he began pouting, she tried not to smile, tried to keep a straight face. But as soon as he started whimpering, she laughed loudly. Shaking her head, she pushed herself up and crawled into his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck. "Well, I guess we'll have to do something about that then, huh? Maybe set up a 'date night' type of thing. We don't really have to do anything special, just hang out or whatever. We can have it on like, Wednesday that way I see you on the weekends and sometime in the middle of the week. Do you think that would work out?" She kept her eyes focused on his pouting lip. Something about seeing him like that made her want to attack him with kisses.
Finn nodded. "Wednesday's a good day," he told her with a smile. "And it'll break up the week so it'll be like Monday, sad. Tuesday, sad. Wednesday, happy. Thursday, sad. Friday, a little happier. Saturday and or Sunday, super happy!" He chuckled and ran his hands down her side with a smile. "I'm glad you came over. That ... a lot of what we said over our texts, I wish I could have said to your face. But I meant it." He took her hand and put it over his heart, which increased in pace as he did so. "That's yours. And-and I don't know when I gave it to you, maybe the very beginning, but it's yours and I just ... want you to know that."
Rachel laughed at his words before her breath caught. She knew he meant what he said, he was never one to lie to her, especially because of their relationship. "I know what you mean. I didn't want to tell you that way but...I couldn't help myself. I just needed you to know." With her hand resting on his chest, she smiled softly, running her fingers over the fabric. Reaching for his free hand with her free hand, she placed it over her own heart. "Mine is yours too. And I know I'm young but what I feel with you, and for you is nothing I have ever felt. Ever. And to me, that means something. I feel so safe when I'm with you." Leaning her head towards him, she pressed her lips to his in a slow, lingering kiss before pulling back. "I'd do anything for you, Finn."
Finn wondered if he should just say it. They were both skirting around the words and he didn't know whether it was some kind of defense mechanism so neither of them was the first to put it out there but he thought maybe he needed to be the man and just say it. He felt it, she felt it, they felt it together so why should the words stay unspoken? But he knew why. Once they were said and official, it would be that much harder if something happened to them and they split. But he figured it would be hard either way, with or without the words. "I ..." he said, trailing off with a small laugh. "I'm just ... I need to say it," he admitted to her. "I need to say the words to you. And it's okay if you don't say them back. I know how you feel." He leaned in and pressed his lips lightly to hers before breathing, "I love you."
Rachel knew how he felt but hearing the words caused her breathing to hitch. He loved her. And she loved him. She smiled breathlessly at him before peppering kisses all along his jaw and face. "I love you too." She said in a hushed voice while her lips moved across his face. Pulling away she nodded slightly to herself. "Now I'm glad I came over. I mean, I was happy before because I got to see you but...hearing those words, I just - wow." She couldn't keep the ridiculous grin off her face as she looked at him. Jumping up from his lap, she looked down at him tilted her head in the direction of his room. She wanted some alone time with her boyfriend, and yeah they had the place to themselves but it felt more private when they were in there. Taking a few steps away from him, she slowly pulled her shirt over her head and tossed it at him while laughing. He said he wanted to touch. Well, he was going to get to.
Finn smiled widely when she said she loved him too. He didn't expect it to happen but now that it did, he kinda felt like nothing bad could ever happen to him. It wasn't realistic or anything but he would take the feeling while he could get it. He was confused when she got up but a slow grin crossed his face when she nodded to the bedroom. He was standing up when she pulled her shirt off and he caught it, dropping it to the floor before taking off after her. He pulled her into his arms and kissed her before lifting her up and carrying her into the bedroom. "This was unexpected," he grinned as he laid her on the bed and settled on top of her. "But a very good unexpected." He lowered himself down and kissed her, one hand settling behind her neck while the other landed on her bare side.
Rachel laughed loudly when he picked her up but the laughter died down as soon as his lips touched hers she quieted down instantly. "Well, you mentioned wanting to touch earlier. I figured that you'd maybe want to right now. And maybe, just maybe I wanted you to touch me too. When I close my eyes, I can pretty much feel your hands on me. It was driving me insane." Wrapping her arms around his neck, she held him close to her while she returned his kiss, sucking on his bottom lip before releasing it and running her tongue along it. "Say it again," She breathed quietly against his lips. "Please."
Finn let out a breath. "I definitely want to touch. He shifted so he was more beside her, their legs tangled together, as his hand gently ran over her stomach. "So you like the feel of my hands on you, huh?" he asked with a grin, kissing her once more. "I love you, Rachel," he whispered in response to her request. And he did. It was crazy and it felt like it had been a lifetime since he'd said it to someone other than his mom but there it was. He loved her and he would say it as often as he could and as many times as she wanted to hear it. He slid one hand up to cup her breast while his lips moved to her neck. "I love you."
Rachel flexed her foot, causing her toes to brush against Finn's leg. "Of course I do." Blushing slightly, she nudged him with her hip. Her mouth dropped open as he began touching. Sighing, she turned her head a little, giving him more room to work his magic on her body. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of this." Running her fingers through his hair, she gripped the hair resting at the nape of his neck. She wished there was something she could do, or say to let him know how she felt, because yes, she loved him but how many times in one night would he want to hear it? "I love you so much, Finn." She sighed.
Finn grinned when she said she loved him too. It was sentimental and stuff but he liked that. And he knew when she ... consented ... he would be saying it over and over and over again until she got sick of hearing it. And he would do it now too. He wasn't afraid to show his feelings or anything. He was a grown man who was in love and he had no shame in repeating the words. He wished he would be able to say them in public, and maybe he would when they went out of town together, but for now his apartment would have to do. He kissed his way down to her breasts and looked up at her, a soft expression in his eyes. "Can I take it off?" he asked as the hand that was kneading her breast slowed and the only movement that remained was his thumb gliding over her nipple.
Rachel nodded her head before sitting up just enough to allow him to unclasp her bra. When the straps loosened on her shoulders, she used her fingers to brush the straps from her shoulders completely before dropping her bra on the floor next to his bed. Looking over her shoulder at him, she smiled softly. This whole thing was still new to her and being in front of him like this, so exposed, it made her a little nervous. But not because she didn't want him to see her like this, but because other than him, no one has ever seen her like this. Laying back down on his bed, she pressed a kiss to his cheek. "You don't have to ask me. I already told you, I'm yours. Every part of me."
Finn watched her, almost in awe, as she removed her bra and dropped it over the side of his bed. "I know, baby," he whispered, "but I want to make sure. We're not ... to that point yet, the fully giving ourselves to each other and that's okay, believe me, but I just ... I want you to be comfortable and I can tell you're still a little nervous and that's okay." He kissed her softly and the pulled back, smiling down at her. "We're taking this one step at a time." He kissed her lips again as his hand moved back to cover her breast, kneading the bare flesh softly. His thumb ran over her nipple and he smiled against her mouth when it pebbled against his finger. "Tell me how you want me to touch you."
Rachel loved that Finn cared so much about her. It was like he never thought of himself and only thought of her. Which, in a way, was very true. Every time they were together, he was almost second guessing his actions and making sure that she was alright. Arching her back, she pressed her breast further into his hand. "I don't -" She paused while she tried to think of something to say, something that wouldn't make her sound like an idiot. "I don't know. What's the next step?" Shaking her head a little, she laughed lightly. "I'm sorry. I want so many things all at once and it's hard to keep my thoughts in order. I want this and yet, I want so much more at the same time. But I don't want to rush anything because like you said, one step at a time."
Finn smiled. "There's no set guideline for what we do next, baby," he whispered as he bent and kissed her lips. "You tell me what you think you want and I'll do it. If you change your mind, I'll stop." He ducked down and pressed a kiss to her jaw, her neck, her collar bone and then her breast. To be honest, he didn't know what he wanted next. Did he want more of her - of course he did - or did he want her to have more of him? The thing was, he was pretty sure there was only one part of him left and he didn't want her to think that it was a requirement for her to go there next. "Tell me what you think you want," baby.
Rachel wanted to laugh at herself for how idiotic she sounded but instead, she just shrugged it off. "I think I want..." She started before breaking off mid sentence. Instead of speaking again, she pressed her lips carefully to his, taking her time to taste him. Once she was sure he was slightly distracted, she wrapped her finger around the hand he had against her breast and began moving it lower and lower until it was resting at the top of her yoga pants. After stalling a moment, she moved it just a little bit more until it was resting over her lady parts. Yes, she knew the correct word but ever since she was little, that's what she called it (mainly for her fathers sake) and it was a hard habit to break. Releasing his hand, she pressed hers against his stomach, hoping he wouldn't freak out.
Finn raised his eyes brows and smiled into her kiss. Okay, so she wanted to make out. He was totally one hundred percent in favor of that. He kissed her long and slow and deep and didn't really notice his hand was moving until his finger caught on the waist of her pants. When she stopped, he thought that was it, she'd changed her mind and she was going to bring it back up. Instead, she pushed it down a little further so he was, in essence, cupping her sex. He broke the kiss and looked down at her in surprise, his hand staying as still as he could manage. He looked down into her eyes and smiled lightly, hoping to ease some of the tension from her face. "Okay," he said with a slight nod. "This is the next step." He slowly slid his finger up her crease and he had to bite back a moan at the heat and slight wetness he felt through her pants and panties. "Good?"
Rachel wasn't sure what she was doing. Everything about sex and foreplay was all foreign to her and she just wanted to do something right, something they'd both enjoy and she figured this was the way. The last time they had any alone time together, she let him feel and see her breasts and okay, sure, every time they were together she wasn't about to strip off more clothes but this felt right. Nodding her head a little, she smiled shyly. "G-Good." She stuttered, feeling his finger move against her pants. Moving her body a little closer to his, she tried to think of something else, anything to keep her mind from freaking her out. Her thigh muscles tightened as she pushed his shirt up a little so she could run her fingers against his bare chest. She knew at some point she was going to see him, touch him, but that's probably the part she's most nervous for. She'd never been with a man and she had no experience. While Finn, he knew what he was doing. She didn't want to do something wrong and have him laugh. It was easier to stay on her body, learn her body first. "You didn't question me," She mumbled with a small smile.
Finn smiled down at her and shook his head. "Because you made the choice," he told her quietly. "But if it makes you uncomfortable, you have to tell me, okay? I need you to be able to tell me if you don't like something or if you've changed your mind. Baby, I won't be upset." He couldn't stress that enough. "We can just kiss if you want to. We don't even need to do that. I ... today was a very big day for us and I don't want you to have any negative thoughts about what we did together." He bent and kissed her lips, his hand moving up to rest on her abdomen. "If you really think you're ready for me to touch you there, tell me and I'll put my hand back. But if you're not, we don't have to. I can take off my shirt and we can kiss and ... and cuddle and do whatever you feel comfortable doing. I /love/ you, Rachel. And I only want to do things with you that you feel comfortable doing."
Rachel smiled. Even if she wanted to there would be no way for her to forget how caring he really was. He had told her numerous times that he wanted more, he thought about doing more but he wouldn't because she wasn't ready. Most boys her age would have taken any opening and ran with it but him? Oh, he was something special. "I'm ready," She said with a smile, "And I'm comfortable because it's you. But I think we should probably save that specific activity for when we have more time. But you can definitely take your shirt off and kiss me." Smirking, she leaned up and gave him a quick peck. "I'd be okay with making out with you for a little while longer until I have to leave."
Finn smiled at her honesty. She was ready but she wanted there to be more time and he completely understood that. Her body was new territory for him and he was starting to believe it was for her too. He wasn't sure but he was assuming she'd never taken the time to explore herself, to get comfortable with her own body, and that was okay, he didn't mind learning with her. He smiled and sat up, pulling his short over his head and dropping it beside her bra on the ground. "See? Now we're both topless, though you totally have better boobs than me, and we can get on with the making out. I love making out with you." He gave her a wink before bringing his lips to hers in a slow, lazy kiss, his hand smoothing gently over her abdomen.
Rachel started laughing loudly at his comment about her boobs being better than his. He was always saying things to make her feel so relaxed and that was a prime example. "And I love making out with you too," She giggled before allowing her mind to drift away. When they kissed, it was like the world around her simply melted, like it was just the two of them and no one else. Placing her hand on his side, she slide it towards his back, running her nails slowly against his skin, feeling it on her fingers. If she were older, she'd never have to leave. They'd be about to kiss, hold hands, talk, in public and while all that sounded fantastic, there was something about being like this with him that was a million times better.
Finn figured he could probably spend the rest of his life just kissing her. Yes, he wanted more, he wanted all of her, but he could do this forever. He could kiss and hold and, yeah, get in some boob action, and he would probably be good to go. He let out a small moan when she slid her nails across his back. She likely had no idea how much he really liked that and he wasn't going to tell her because he didn't want her to think about doing it; he wanted it to be natural. He had to break for air after a few minutes so he looked down at her with a smile. "Next time your dads leave town, I'd like you to stay with me again," he said softly. "I like having you here with me."
Rachel closed her eyes and smiled when they pulled back for air. If there was a way to live off of him and his kisses, she'd do it. Her body was like a live wire whenever he was around and she loved the feelings he emitted from her. Opening her eyes, she smiled brightly up at him and nodded her head. "Okay, yeah." Of course she'd stay, there was no way he'd keep her away. Especially after their weekend together. When she went home, she wished that they were able to have a redo, that she could just start the whole weekend over just to have more time with him. "I like being here with you. I feel comfortable here." Running her fingers through her hair she sighed softly. They didn't set the clock, didn't put on time limit on how long she'd be there except that she had to be home shortly since the next day was Easter (not that she actually celebrated or anything).
Finn looked over at her with a small smile. "Good. I'm glad you feel comfortable here with me. I feel comfortable with you here with me." He kissed her lightly on the cheek and shut his eyes for a moment. "How much time do we have?" he asked quietly as he tugged her down so her head was resting on his shoulder. He hated asking that question because the answer was always 'not enough' and he didn't like that at all. He always hoped the answer would be given in hours but more often than not it was just in minutes. He turned his neck and pressed a kiss to her forehead, a sigh escaping. "It's not long, is it? Before you have to go?"
Rachel smiled sadly as she rested her head against him. "Not long at all." She said softly. If there was one thing she hated, it was leaving Finn and everything it meant to be with him. It was almost to the point that being home felt like a completely different life to the one she lived when she was here, like there were two sides to her and this is the side she loved the most. "In fact, I should probably put my top back on and give you a few more kisses." Sucking her bottom lip between her teeth, she scrunched her eyes closed. She didn't want to leave. "I don't want to leave and I don't want tomorrow to be Easter because I want to spend time with you. And ... I know that's selfish but... I hate being away from you, you know?"
Finn leaned forward and caught her lips in a soft kiss before turning over the side of the bed to grab her bra for her. "I know, baby," he said softly. "I know. I'll go get your shirt." He climbed from the bed reluctantly. Things shouldn't be this hard in a relationship that meant so much to both of them. They told each other 'I love you' tonight and then they had a few stolen moments before she had to get dressed and leave. He hated that. He should be able to be with the girl he loved on the night he told her he loved her. But society said they were wrong so they had to be too careful, too quiet, too hidden. He found her shirt and made his way back into the bedroom and handed it to her. "I hate it when you leave," he admitted.
Rachel took her bra from Finn and when he left the room, she began putting it back on. She grumbled to herself while clasping the back together, complaining about having to leave, having to be away from the person she wanted to spend all her time with. When he walked back in his room, Rachel began laughing. "You know, I was just thinking the same thing." Standing, she pulled her shirt over her head before reaching out for him. Stepping closer, she pressed her body close to his before pressing up on her toes and attaching her lips to his cheek. She wanted more, to feel his lips pressed against her, to taste him on her tongue, but she couldn't otherwise she'd never leave. "I love you," She breathed against his skin.
Finn wrapped his arms around her and looked down at her, a deep sigh escaping his lips. "I'm about to bust into 'Wouldn't It Be Nice' by the Beach Boys," he joked. "Seriously, this sucks. But it's only for a couple more months. And then we can decide who we tell, what we tell them ... everything's going to work out," he told her seriously. "You and I are gonna make it through this and the one day we won't have to hide in Fort Wayne or my apartment. And then when we get to New York, it'll be just like we're any other couple." He glanced over her shoulder at his close and sighed. "You should probably get going," he told her reluctantly.
Rachel "I can't wait." She mumbled. But of course she could. It wasn't that she didn't like their situation, while sure, it was a hard and she didn't like hiding, she didn't care. The thing that bothered her most was having to walk out his door. Nodding her head she kissed him against before making her way towards the door. "You know, I think next time my fathers go away, you should stay with me. I love you." She said before walking out the door and closing it behind her.
Finn felt something was off about this time, something didn't feel right. He kissed her back and replied with his own "I love you" but when the door closed, he couldn't stay behind it. He opened it and ran out to catch her, not even glancing around before her pulled her close and kissed her again, this time deeper and with as much meaning and emotion as he could put behind it. He pulled back and let out a breath. "I /love/ you," he told her as he met her eyes. "I love you and I will stay with you the next time they go out of town. I'll stay anywhere and do anything you want with you because I /love/ you." He kissed her once more before backing away, a slight smile on his face. "Now get home, angel. Don't want you to get in trouble." He gave her a wink before re-entering his apartment, the weight that had settled in his stomach slightly lighter. He knew it wouldn't go away until he could be with her fully but for now, the step of kissing her outside of his apartment, was enough to make him feel just a little bit better.
