Here's hoping that they manage to have fun at another one? My friend and I used to have a blast at her house for sleepovers, but even if she came over with the intention of spending the night, she always went home by 12am. So it's not the same, but I'm sending your kiddo some sympathy for less-than-fun sleepover.

Yeah..I guess sleepovers are really hit or miss. I just feel bad for her.

Thanks, dear. It’s really disappointing that such young kids are already so involved with phones. To be fair though my daughter uses the hell out of her ipad but not to the extent that she ignores people around her. She can easily put it down and do other things.

I had a friend do that to me when I was her age. I remember being happy when she went home... Poor kid.

Right! I’m thinking she’s going to be leaving earlier than planned in the morning.

Poor kid, I'm so sorry. We haven't tried a sleepover here but man...10 yr old friend issues, I relate.

10 year olds apparently have a lot of friend issues. Everyday all I hear about is drama. These kids are crazy. I’m dreading her getting older and things getting even worse. Hopefully they won’t but I will always worry about it. Parenting sucks.

BUT anyway..her friend is still sleeping and my daughter is staying up late with me playing the new Zelda game. My running commentary for the game is on point tonight too. I think she’s feeling better because of my comedy gold.
