Old-Timey Fireplace

There are three versions:

The wall-mounted version works like other fireplaces, locked to the walls.

The floor version can be placed freely. It doesn't lock on to walls, and the pipe goes straight up. It was made for short wall heights, because I wasn't sure how much use people would get out of the other heights when designing for something in this aesthetic. 

The no chimney version is like the floor version, but without a chimney spout, and more slots to push fire safety to its limits!

When I was editing something for off-the-grid functionality, I spent a lot of time looking at that one base game stove and kept thinking, "I've seen fireplaces like that." I also realized I had nothing to heat my Sims' log cabins. I put a lot of work into making this fireplace, and even made a snow mask for it (it will look snowy when placed outside!). Not sure why you'd put it outside, but you can!

Off-the-Grid Typewriter WIP

I've wanted a way to just write off-the-grid for a while now, so I'm working on making something for that! I modified the Writer's Lore typewriter to be a functional computer.

I'm not sure if there's a better way to do what I'm doing, but my method requires a bunch of custom tuning, so I need to refine it a little (and retexture it!) before I'll be ready to share the first version. I know a lot of people want variants on this concept, so I'm open to suggestions on what interactions you'd want available/disabled. So far, I've left only the writing/writing-adjacent interactions (like writing jokes, some of the freelance options), but would people want a super-historical-immersion version?

must have been fate i felt the need to even make it when i was doing townie makeovers... an alien named Marlon spawned and he had a leather jacket with like 3 of his outfits, so... I felt the need to turn him into a greaser in his human disguise... LOL
