hi loves! i'm sorry i'm here so late, i had to work today and only recently got off! besides that, i'm so excited to be here because it's been a hot dang minute since i've been in an rp, but i'm excited to be with you all nonetheless! until then, i'll be putting a bit below about this lil bean <3
spencer was born as the oldest child of five children, two younger brothers, and two younger twin sisters. being the eldest, responsibility always fell on his shoulders, which he didn't really mind for the longest time, and for some time he felt proud to take the responsibility of his younger siblings.
his parents working full time only seemed to heavy the load on the boy's shoulders, his growing siblings (and brothers specifically) becoming more and more rebellious. at first, he tried to do the 'authorative brother' thing and help them out, but it only got worse and worse.
his parents' approach was to move their children's schools when things got bad enough, but after the fourth move in two years, spencer had had enough and stood up to his parents, expressing how much he hated being moved around, and that it was hard to have to make friends and plant roots over and over again, only to lose them.
he thought that since he was always a reserved kid, never second guessing or back talking his parents, that they'd at least hear him out. but he was quickly proven wrong, both parents berating him for how ungrateful he was and how at least his younger brothers were thankful for what they had, despite their abhorrent behavior. they ripped into him for what he could've sworn was hours, and when they were done, the boy was left speechless.
by speechless literally meaning that he didn't speak to his family for days, ultimately packing up a backpack the night before their scheduled big move (out of state this time, specifically) to sneak out to a friends house and stay for the night.
of course, he woke up to a flurry of missed calls and messages, his mother, father, and siblings all sounding furious, and he knew it wasn't something he should've done, but he was nothing short of absolutely shocked when finding his house empty, his family indeed leaving before he had came back home.
spence stayed there for a few nights, living out of what he'd packed from his backpack, to wait and see if they'd come back for him, but after a week had passed, then two, he'd lost any hope that may had been left.
for a few months, the at the time sixteen year old would sleep wherever he could, whether that be friend's couches or even an underpass or two, before he was able to land a job at a bakery that was within in his normal path. it was owned by a sweet old lady that he tended to smile extra bright at everytime he walked into her shop. he was able to disguise his living situation majority of the time, but soon enough the woman found out and was kind enough to let him stay in her guest room.
he lived there until he turned eighteen and could rent an apartment on his own, and stayed at that job while he went to school. he didn't end up leaving the job until after graduating college, but he still stops by the bakery frequently.
nowadays he's an art teacher and loves it to pieces. it may not be the best paying job, but that's when he also does art on the side to earn some extra cash.

SUMMARIZED HISTORY:
atlas was born and raised in san diego to his biological mother and father, both lawyers as well. both of their hectic schedules meant that neither of them had a lot of extra time to give to atlas and, seeing as he was an only child, he spent most of his time alone as a result. however, his parent’s busy schedules never stopped them from making time to push some very heavy expectations and challenges onto him. they planned out every detail of his life, expected everything done perfectly, and accepted nothing less than exactly what they’d envisioned. for most of his childhood, he accepted this as his reality and strove to simply conform to their every whim. however, now that he’s become exactly everything they ever hoped he’d be, he’s beginning to wonder who he would be without all of that.
PERSONALITY:
upon first meeting, atlas comes off very proper and put together. or, to some, monotonous and perhaps even a little fake. he’s spent his whole life being taught the importance of appearances and was forced to attempt to master the ability to be just enough of everything that he could be anything to anyone. as such, he tends to reveal very little about himself during casual conversation or with casual acquaintances. some find that intriguing, some find that incredibly infuriating. he simply considers it a byproduct of his father’s relentless reminders to withhold information until it’s beneficial for you to share it. however, all of those habits and misconceptions are merely shallow facades that are easily pulled away if one cares enough to look. because, truly, he’s the total opposite of what he appears upon first meeting. he’s playful and loud and curious - perhaps so much so that he verges on childish sometimes. he’s also much less confident in himself than his initial composure would suggest, quick to take other’s opinions and critiques to heart. he’s caring, perhaps to a fault, and optimistic to the point of verging on idealistic; all traits that are so rarely allowed to be highlighted in his line of work and with how few of people he lets in enough to truly know. all in all, he’s a good person who is trying to delicately walk the balance of who he has always been expected and taught to be and who he has always been and who he has become despite all of it.

molan sun, was raised in a pretty normal family. her father loved his only girl with everything in him. her mother of course adored her. they gave their only girl everything. even if she was the oldest. their baby girl would always be just that. whatever she wanted she got. she grew up in busan, south korea until the age of 15. that’s when her parents decided to have a new start, moving to america was a big step for them all. her father became of the best neurosurgeons in the the state of california. her mother was a stay at home mom since molan had 2 younger brothers. being a teen, and being the new girl was kind of big for her. being brand spanking new in an upscale private school as all the rage. within the first week she’d become actively popular. making friends easy for the sake they were curious about her.
molan had a love for sports. she became apart of the swim team, and even won a few state records. that was until she fell in love with kick boxing. one of her sleezy exes in high school introduced her to it. they’d sneak out to catch the underground fights. given they’d have to get in with fake ids. that didn’t stop molan though. once she saw how fearless those ladies were. she begged her parents for lessons. they didn’t see the harm in it. they took it as a way for her to defend herself. when in reality it was an awakening of what she wanted to do with her life. that was until her parents guilted her into going to college. taking the easy way out she became a real-estate agent for the upscale part of town. easily becoming successful at it. she keeps her boxing a secret. wearing a disguise every time she fights. just so no one will find out it’s her. other then that she loves living with a roommate, and loves to annoy her friends.

Seeing as Ky was only a child he didn’t realize they’d be moving to America. Las Vegas of all places in America. His father’s business wanted him to go for a partnership. Ky not knowing that the actual business was gang related. His father had come to take over the gang residing in Las Vegas. Being the one of the best assassins' back home he easily became the leader. The partnership ended in his father taking over everything. Becoming the most powerful man in the state. Growing up though his father made sure he knew everything he needed. Ky’s father went hard on him regardless of what it was. If he wasn’t the best at everything he did he was criticized. He never understood why his father was this way. Even his mother tried to have his father ease up. Though they both knew why Ky;s father was so hard on him. When he turned 16 he was told the truth. He would take over as the leader of the gang his father ran. His father was training him mentally to be prepared to run something huge. Ky at first wasn’t sure he wanted it, but eventually he came to terms with it. He began helping his father with the family business. He became one of the most ruthless men in the game.
That was until his sister Gia found out she was pregnant with his nephew. The betrayal from his absolute best friend who got her pregnant broke his heart. Considering he was right hand man. Ky waited until she was 6months along. On that exact date he was supposed to become the leader of the gang. Instead the night before he packed his sister up, and ran for it. Taking all the cash their father had. As well as the inheritance his father had left for him. Making sure his sister had grabbed hers as well. Working there was his happiness until the owner had passed. Ky invested some of his inheritance into it. Not realizing just how big it would become. Eventually he added on the piercing’s to his shop. When he hired some guy who was experienced to pierce just about anything. Ky found out about the underground boxing/fighting business. Suddenly he was investing his time into it. Ji-hun was born two very loving parents. Maybe a bit too loving in his opinion. They loved to control his life even as a baby. When he was seven they made the move to San Diego. His father’s side of the family moved for business. Considering it was a family business they followed. They wanted to expand it to the US. Which is why they had volunteered to move. His mother wasn’t to happy about it. Considering she’d have to leave her family just for some dream of his father’s. Anyway, when they moved Ji, and his brothers were put into the best private schools. Nothing but the best for their parents pride and joys right? They made enough money with their business they made sure their kids had the best. It made Ji a bit spoiled. Considering his parents would give him whatever he wanted. He was the baby after all. Which meant even more special treatment. He could do no wrong in their eyes.
His teenage years were a bit rough. He was incredibly popular at school. The boy had everything. The athletics skill in whatever sport he played. That didn’t mean he was technically good in the academic portion though. He paid off people to do his work. Ji didn’t believe that school was necessary. That was until the school found out what he was doing. His Junior year he got kicked out of the private school. No other private school wanted a cheater so that landed him in public school. His parents took everything away from him. His allowance, car, and his ability to play sports. Ji felt so lost on what to do. That was until he met the one person who changed his mind. He fell so deeply for them. They made him want to be a better person. They got him through high school, and even made him realize his dream of becoming a doctor. Someone who could help other people like they had helped him. Except when college rolled around this person ended moving thousand of miles away. Leaving Ji to figure it all out on his own. Without his parents support he found a job being a vocal coach. Thank goodness for all those lessons as a child. It’s the only way he’s paying rent, and of course his college classes. After high school his parents stopped caring for him. Now he doesn’t take anything seriously. Just believing everyone leaves him in the end. His jokes are just a way to hide his pain inside. He just likes to seem happy so people don’t bother asking what’s wrong. He kikes making other people laugh and feel great though.
