Just added a new 4 TB drive today. In the process of splitting my video files between the new drive and the older 4 TB drive. Moving a total of about 2 TB. 809 GB of that is from what I did at TWGGA the past few days. I still have more to import. I'll end up with just shy of 900 GB of video, picture, and audio files (the audio is less than 1% of that total). After everything is imported and organized between the two drives the process of deleting all of the obvious bad video clips will start. Once I parse all of it, the real work starts. Rewatching what is probably about 20 hours of footage. Then sorting through photos I already have and hopefully more to come. What are the projects? The big project is a documentary about the TWGGA past presidents. It focuses on 7 of them, but also has quite a few others. I anticipate the final result to be 60 - 90 minutes long. It could be shorter or longer. This documentary will be my most ambitions project to date. It will take a big chunk of my time over the next 4-6 weeks (hopefully not longer). So I don't expect to put out any new WWTV content than isn't already uploaded and ready to go. There may be a couple here and there. The other project will be a short marketing video for TWGGA. While it will be closer to 3 - 5 minutes long, it will still take a lot of time to sort out what clips I'll use. For this one I just recorded as much content as possible. A ton of those clips will never see the light of day. And the ones I do use, maybe 5 - 10 secs worth? I'm super excited for this. It's pushing my limits as a creator. Learning new skills and dusting off old ones. I'm dipping my toe into the "filmmaker" world with it too. And hopefully it will lead to marketing projects for other wineries. I got an idea of what another company does while there and what they charge. #twgga #wine #texaswine #filmmaker #lifewithmark #shotoniphone #djiosmopocket https://www.instagram.com/p/CaNJ5MLrGpx/?utm_medium=tumblr
