Can’t stop, won’t stop:  What food could you never give up?

this is really hard omfg i love a lot of food. I love coffee, i love coffee culture, i love the way it smells & its versatility BUT if I classify it strictly as a beverage I can keep coffee AND rice, whole grain and mixed w/ barley & millet is really good, and is in most dishes I love like curry and sushi and a ton of indonesian dishes. I seriously couldn’t eat indonesian food w/o rice. it’s everywhere

SANIC DA HORDGEHEG:  Do you like any games that others usually think are bad?

I don’t know? I’m having trouble finding an example. Most of the games I play are considered pretty good examples for their genres. Oh! I love FFXII even though it’s apparently one of the least popular Final Fantasy games? It’s my favorite probably and the gambit system is great b/c I love Doing Absolutely Nothing and I think everyone who threw a fit about it when it came out was probably a big baby (also it’s now a very popular combat mechanic SO)

oh my god i get very briefly but intensely upset about so much stupid garbage and I try my best to forget it immediately. I cannot remember angry things when i’m tipsy it’s my least favorite thing to think about, but let’s see, umm at work I think I’m constantly getting low-key aggravated by the fact that not everyone finishes the food the same way like I was taught to put butter + seasoning on some of the bread sides a very certain way and I see my coworkers doing it differently and I want to butt in like “UM NO WRONG” but I don’t and it’s taxing me, it’s so hard being right all the time

It was really unnecessary?? It didn't add to their point at all and was just really rude, tbh. Like, even a separate confession stating that they did not like tov or top and why would be fine, but deliberately throwing two other great games under the bus to try and make abyss seem better does not help your case. What the hell, man.

I ended up ignoring it, in the end. Like, the idea of having like a place to anonymously talk about things you like/dislike about the series is fine, but the way it's gotten in actuality is irksome and unpleasant and just...nasty. Yeah, nasty is a good word for it, actually. Like people from different game fandoms withing the Tales of fandom throwing stones at each other and trying to raise up one or two favourites as "the best"

The only confessions I end up liking nowadays are the ones that are an attempt at mitigating the situation or pointing out the problematic behaviours of the fandom itself, anyway.
