While @twiggysbox was doing their no mercy run, they generously allowed me to play their Muffet Fight. So I struggled in the web as a pink soul until she spared me; then killed her.

That fight was AMAZING! And we got some cool new dialogue!

Sort of? I mean I don’t drink tea so much for the flavour as I do just to stay awake from the caffeine…or because I’m offered tea biscuits. I love tea biscuits.

Eggnog:What was the name of your first stuffed animal?

This is actually really hard I’ve had a ton of stuffed animals. I had a little plush doll named Ariel that I used to carry around all of the time. So it was either that or my Mickey Mouse. (I lost both while abroad which is why you guys that know me offline have never seen them)

Hot Cocoa:What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

Uhhhh….I’d say it would be that I don’t give up easily? Usually if one method doesn’t work I’ll get really frustrated but I’ll find another way around it.

when i watched TV I would try to put Adventure Time on whenever possible but now that i pretty much just catch 1-2 shows online it sort of fell off my radar. I would like to get back into it b/c it did some stuff really nice. it was a world you could think about. I was super into it actually up until Finn .. .grew his arm back? which was a while ago i’m sure a lot of other stuff has happened

that's fair. tbh i dont totally understand linkle's introduction or what it means for the LoZ franchise, whether they'll give her a game/world of her own or if she really is just a cisswap, and i'm grateful to hear other trans fans' opinions on the matter. and no worries about being short, i can tell you're overwhelmed tonight. please take care of yourself!

my gut reaction toward linkle was strongly negative too, but a.) several trans ladies i follow are really excited about it and see it as validation of trans link interpretations, and b.) since link is a reincarnated soul and not necessarily a static character it actually makes a lot of sense to have lady link in some timelines. is it still a genderbend when the character is a direct reincarnation? im not sure. also hyrule warriors is a weird place to introduce her bc it's noncanon but idk

Thing is though...it’s not a female Link. It’s Linkle. Like....it’s a Link genderbend?? At most?? Like I agree that there could be a female Link as one of the reincarnations, and honestly I’ve been wishing for it to happen since I was 9 years old, but this doesn’t feel like that. She’s not a Link on her own so much as a cisswap of the Hyrule Warriors Link.

Idk I just. :/ There’s very little that could be brought to me that would convince me personally to warm up to it, even if there were a nice explanation for it. Like the characters design itself is offputting enough that I’m just...not interested. Sorry.

Mettaton: What did you write for Mettaton’s essay?

The first time I fought him I wrote “I love Mettaton because he is very MERCIFUL. And also he (some comment about appearance)” every single time and I got like 350-400 points each. He didn’t have a comment about my subtle plea for mercy but he still saved my essay to use as an example.

Alphys: Which character do you identify with the most?

Alphys’s status updates got SUPER RELATABLE, like HMMMM I THINK I KNOW THIS TRAJECTORY but oddly enough after seeing Sans’ room I just. I don’t know. I feel like he knows the struggle?? And I’ve seen posts where it’s like “c’mon if sans gets up every morning despite knowing the utter futility of his efforts and impermanence of his accomplishments YOU CAN TOO” and i was just like “wwOW I GUESS I CAN”

Dummy: Something you wish we had more of in the game?
