Mandibles are fairly common in @tfmatrix and seekers especially take pride in their prominent buggy mouths. They’re very expressive with them. Who needs lips when you have pedipalps?!

Ok so like. As an Autobot. So many autobots are dedicated to upholding the status quo. They're comfortable and desire their places in the caste system, because their places are higher than most (for the most part.). And those that don't feel that way were tricked by Autobot propaganda, and couldn't really turn their backs on the group once they figured out they were. That, or they disagree with some Con policies/ideals but the former is more common. (All "headcanon" mind you but yeah)

the fact being an autobot is about upholding the status quo (that being an oppressive caste system) is depressing and of course there are autobots that are not like that, but to ally themselves with that cause that would kick them out with a second thought if they Did visibly stray is ?!?!?!?
