Spotting a creature, specifically a vampire:

1. Check for some unnatural eye color. Nothing completely human will have red or gold eyes

2. Extreme strength is unusual but not a dead give away. Be wary

3. Make friends with the sun. If the creature is unseen during the day, separate yourself

4. If you find yourself drawn to them and seduced, do what you can to break the attraction. You’re in danger

5. They may be able to take other animal-like forms. Proceed with caution

6. If you find it ice cold and pale, they are either extremely sick or undead. Keep your wits about you and assume the worst

7. See how they interact with mirrors. If there’s no reflection, be on guard
