An Ashborn (Solo Leveling) X Aro (yep the Volturi vampire from Twilight) fic and their tragic love story as Aro continues to lose his memories of their relationship whenever Ashborn and the Rulers drink the Cup of Reincarnation and although Aro's Gift allows him to view Ashborn's memories of their once past, it's still not the same.

And Aro learns that nothing he can do will ever stop the rise of Hunters, Gates, and monsters - he's seen all of his own attempts; he knows there's no working solution.

And yet, he still tries.

After seeing the bizarre powers of one Bella Swann, he's the one who proposes to Ashborn to find a human champion. (But unbeknownst to him, this solidifies Ashborn's desire to sleep and never awake again.)

Wait, so does this make Aro Sung Jinwoo's kind of sort of adoptive (vampire) father? Lol Aro just dropping by Sung Jinwoo's apartment here and there to criticize Jinwoo's taste in clothes and décor and complain how Jinwoo doesn't visit Italy enough.

and then you have bree confiding in bella and bella confiding in her when she turns into a vampire and learns how to cope with everything. like the possible interactions we could’ve had with bella and bree are so cutee😔

and even cuter is bree being resume’s big sister. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺like ik we all hate her but their interactions would’ve been so fucking cute

Gen Z vampires in Twilight

Just imagine how the Voltaire would have to change the way they work as Vampires from the Gen-Z generation join.

They demand work reform, that they are "on call" only 40 hours a week. They demand better working conditions and Just Because Vampires Sparkle In the Sun is insufficient reason to deprive them completely of sunlight. Build them a safe space where they can sparkle all they want in the sunlight damnit!

For that matter, they need a safe space away from Aro. "Yeet!"

They also reply to Aro's commands with "okay, boomer. whatever you say, boomer." (But they also get the job done. They also may or may not ship Aro with the various other handsome men in the coven.)

Gen Z vampires compete against each other with coming up with hacks on how to lure humans away from the crowd, of how to drink blood with leaving minimal mess, how to pick the tastiest humans to drink from, etc. etc.

Gen Z vampires take pictures of all the places they visit. They have some huge followings on instagram as a photography account.

Just the idea of depressed Marcus learning slang fills me with great joy. "Yeet that sadness, dude!" Gen Z vampire named Kayetlinne yells at her boss's brother in law.

Gen Z vampires go on AITA and various other Reddit forums to complain about their bosses - mainly Aro to be honest - and their "roommates" (Demeter, Felix, etc.).

Sung Jinwoo the immortal... child vampire?

[Insert reason why Sung Jinwoo decides to drop by another version of Earth. Insert reason why Jinwoo decides to do so in his young teenage form.]

The Volturi ends up spotting Sung Jinwoo in young teenage form and come to the wrong conclusion that he is an immortal child. And then Aro finds that he cannot read Jinwoo's mind (hey, different Earths means differences in human body structures that leads to Aro being unable to read the minds of humans from Jinwoo's original world. Or maybe it's due to Jinwoo's Shadow Monarch status.)

Whatever the case is, Jinwoo is immediately placed in the Volturi's care and they take him to Italy to "raise".

Jinwoo finds it all odd, but he enjoys the fussing and the fact that he now has companions/family that won't die of old age and brush off his mana/oddness as his Gift.

Meanwhile Jinwoo accidentally blinds Marcus from the millions of bonds that Jinwoo has... with his shadow???

I just have the very funny image of a 12 year old Jinwoo acting all fatherly to the very old and ancient Marcus. Jinwoo pats Marcus' head while dragging Marcus out of his depressive funk.

Meanwhile Jinwoo is also working out his grief of his last family member (Jinah's son probably) passing away (which is the reason why he went worldhopping and ended up on this Twilight-vampire version of Earth.

Luo Bingge (PIDW) X Edward (Twilight) where Luo Bingge is Edward's singer but Luo Bingge can control anyone who consumes his blood... But Edward can also read Luo Bingge's mind.

i love your newest idea and my brain immediately asked questions?

do they find out about his shadow army? you know, his millions of dangerous monster/whatever shadows?

and if they find out, how do they react? do they still think it’s something with his power and not like… he‘s a necromancer and could do more. oh- what if they find out he IS a necromancer but thats because they saw him trying to raise a shadow of a killed vampire or werewolf idk

and when they finally find out, how do they react to the fact that all his shadows call him "liege" or "king" or something like that?

Original Jinwoo gets mistaken as baby vampire post

Yes they know he has a shadow army. They assume his gift is to conjure up monsters from the shadows. But holy hell do they NOT know the sheer size of his army (and Jinwoo has no plans of enlightening them).

Well... Marcus might know. He can see bonds after all. But he's pretty depressed and wouldn't take the initiative to think much about how Jinwoo has a shit ton of threads (and he's not going to count them either). Aro will just assume that Jinwoo's gift - which prevents Aro from using his mindreading on Jinwoo) is also messing up Marcus' gift.

They DO know that Jinwoo is absurdly powerful, that he has dozens if not hundreds of shadow summons. (Jinwoo only summons his main shadow summons around the vampires like Beru and Igris who are curious about the vampire folks.)

I don't think Jinwoo can make summons out of killed vampires. Like, to kill vampires, they got to be completed burnt to crisp. Also since the Voltaire sees Jinwoo as a baby (even if an immortal baby), they will want to protect Jinwoo for another few centuries before they feel safe letting Jinwoo roam around on his own, much less being sent on missions with Jane and her twin. (Also considering how Jinwoo is so close to Marcus, they aren't willing to take the risk of Jinwoo getting killed and leaving Marcus' mental state even worse.)

Vampire Royalty Aro becomes The Cult Leader in human society

The 1970s and '80s were full of hippies, cults, and even weirder shit.

Aro was getting a little... restless, bored, feeling a little cooped up in his palace. He's also itching to give Carlisle's diet a try - no, he's not consuming animal blood, but he will try getting his blood without kill human lives.

Aro inadvertently starts a cult where woman trade a pint of their blood in return for charismatic Aro's advice on how to fix their life.

(Among the intelligence sector, rumor has it that Aro sleeps with some of his cult followers given how he is frequently seen leaving alone with a woman for hours in a room together, them staring into each other's eyes and the woman leaving the room with... hickeys on her neck. The CIA is deeply concerned about this new cult leader and a cult with unclear beliefs/goals.)

Aro grows found of the humans. Many have left abusive spouses/parents. He might had... doted on them. Vampires are rich; he's also rich in historical artifacts that he doesn't mind taking out a couple to share/be allowed to be perused. He even finds a couple humans to turn since he can tell they will have strong gifts.

Aro ends up departing from his experiment when the CIA sets out a strike team to "assassinate" him and seize the money/artifacts because surely that money had to come from illegal means and such a large quantity points to terrorist group/drug cartels.
