💜— How do they say goodnight?
jonathan says goodnight with his eyes. he watches his partner undress and slip on their pajamas with absolute adoration. when they turn to look at him, his lips quirk up in a smile, and a blush spreads on his cheeks. still, he looks, and he says it all with his eyes. when they crawl into bed and wraps an arm around them and presses a kiss to their cheek and temple. asks if they’re comfortable. tells them he loves them. then he reaches down to lace his fingers through theirs and he drifts off to sleep, listening to the sound of their breathing, happy to know they are alive and safe.
