when i started working on lenthes' background, i had the idea of her (or her father) being a member of the twin adders. i scrapped the idea but kept the clothes and the bow because they're cute.

Captain Eluned of the Twin Adders

In canon: Nerys takes a position with the Twin Adders because politically it will help Minfilia and the Scions. But she does not actually spend a lot of time with them outside of running missions for them, usually alone. A lot of the political and military institutions in Gridania are especially fraught for Duskwight characters. She is probably a Lieutenant in the Adders but for political reasons skipped some ranks

Non-canon: Just achieved Captain and my squad has been extremely helpful in learning dungeons as a tank. I could do with some better squad AI though
