“oh, uh, yes, thank you..” she was honestly a little caught off guard - mostly in the other’s zest. she cannot fathom how someone would be so excited in times like this - where people have seen family members die right before her eyes -- lux has seen her parents die before her eyes. 

still, she wasn’t about to critique someone that was here to help, especially when she hadn’t really gotten many offers - despite the reward. well, she’d had some people claiming to have found her brother, bringing along some vaguely similar man but none of them were right. really it only fuelled her worry that maybe he would be impossible to find...or maybe -- but she doesn’t let herself think that far ahead, give into too many dark thoughts.

so she clears her throat, nodding her head at the other. “ it was written in the paper, but i guess you didn’t get that far, huh. basically i need help finding my brother - we got separated a few days ago in a mob and i haven’t been able to find him since. i’m looking for someone to help me with tracking him down.”

“Well, you are half right, Jinx. I do adore the arts, and I don’t think that’s something you should shame me for... it is called being cultured, by the way!” He adds, believing that his preferences automatically make him cultured.

“Oh, and this mask is not ‘crappy’, it is refined. It is a representation of an idea, and there isn’t a mar of imperfection anywhere on it. Perhaps you should invest in a mask, it would make you a bit more... representative of what you are...”

A coy smirk spreads across his face beneath his mask upon hearing her mention his self confidence, and he nestles a gloved hand under his chin, tilting his head up a bit.

“I am entirely cool as well, dear. Frankly i’m shocked to hear that you’d think I am anything less. Men like me do not receive such notoriety from being uncool, Jinx.”

I’m glad to see that you like my own gremlin demon as well, I try to keep this portrayal as accurate as possible without making Jhin completely intolerable. 

Let Jhin and Jinx make Piltover go boom together? Please? The place can barely tolerate Jinx so how is it going to tolerate another person with a four letter J name? Oh, and his criminal record of course…

“ – yes, yes i know.” she speaks, feigning exasperation but really she’s only playing around. she’s quite content, actually, snuggled up against jinx’s back. it had been a peaceful time these days; no need for fighting or transforming so energy levels had actually been fairly…normal. life had felt normal for once and for that lux had felt incredibly thankful.

right now she was living her best life, as the kids say, with a head nestled again’st jinx’s shoulder, arms wrapped around her middle and a switch in hand as she went around beautifying her ac island. “ and i’m also legally obligated to call you cute when i’m big spoon.” she says, with a smirk in her words. two could play at this game.
